Edit: The Aussie chick (Zoey (on the hood)) was a real stunt-girl too, plus I thought the entire flick had an awesome soundtrack.

did anyone see hard eight, the paul thomas anderson movie? fuck those actors are so good. it had philip seymour hoffman in one scene playing craps at a casino, and he was a serious cuntyhole. RIP, what a tragedy.

I did see but years ago. I remember liking it but not much else right now other than Hoffman takes that guy under his wing to become a "successful" gambler. I should watch that again too. PTA reminds me a bit of LVT (Lars Von Trier) in that they both do weird and intense but very personal movies and both generate a lot of controversy and mixed reviews in doing so.

I saw that movie Frequency that Art recommended when he was last on. At first I thought it was going to be cheesy but it really grew on me and by the end I was kinda sold.
