Metric is silly, it's like trying to force dollar coins on people.

I remember when I was in elementary school they announced we wouldn't have to learn the metric system anymore.  We didn't care. We just wanted to play kickball during recess.  I do wish we would've learned it though.  I think that was the time when the new world order made their move.

The only practical thing the metric system is good for is buying drugs.  Apologies to my third grade math teacher, there.

I remember when rockets used to do this.

That's not a good result.  Unless it's on the 4th of July and you launch it next to your drunk buddy.

Silly as in the preferred system of science that the rest of the world uses? That kind of silly?

It is when you foist it on the majority that doesn't really care and just wants to understand what's going on. To the science-minded, it makes perfect sense. To the normal guy getting dictated to by government edicts, it's just an impractical needless pain in the ass that puts a stumbling block in front of the economy.

Also, kickball was awesome.

You'll learn Metric in most science related careers. It is the World Standard.

What the hell axe is Hoagland grinding for George, again?  Stopped listening to Noory after a time.  I think the most I've gotten out of this guest so far are payloads, ICBMs, and Musk.  It's all one big "that's what she said" to me, so far.
You summed it up perfectly. I can feel my mind slipping away :/

If you're talking about the majority of people in the world we're already using it but you keep can keep your 7 rams to the hoghead type system.  ;)

The day Hoagland has the rights to play Tom Waits is the day I stop listening to Tom Waits.  Which is to say--it better be a cheap knock-off.

VERY cheap knock-off brand. Donated music  ;)

This rocket recovery is actually a big deal. If the stage can be refurbished and reliably used this will be a game changer in space matters.

Dick, you might want to talk to your promotions people.

Airing OSOM ads during your show is not brilliant.

Or maybe it is brilliant...
