It amazes me that the designs and style of the cars n the 50's/60's/early 70's was so amazing! Yea, their safety and suspension were not well designed, but they really were beautiful designs!

Then the oil crisis in '73.  We kept the compacts but went to SUVs and Humvees for some reason.  You can't keep down the big car.  It keeps coming back in another form.

 I didn't think his show was all that bad last night.  What was bad were the callers. What a bunch of numbskulls in general. I think open hailing frequencies might be a bad idea for RCH.

I mean really I wasn't surprised that he was  pretty focused on the alien mega structure. It's totally up his alley. But seriously I'm going to wait to see what the observation and research yields. Speculating is fun but it's kind of useless  unless you have a talk show where you have to keep talking to fill space.

One thing that came to my mind is that there is a cloud of debris orbiting this star. He even brought it up himself so I don't see why that is not just as likely as a fucking alien built structure.  And let's also keep in mind that this motherfucker is 1500 ly away.whatever we are looking at happened 1500 years ago.

She's fast too. Factory built for top end cruising not 1/4 miling (although she's no slouch there either.) Delivers 445 foot Lbs of peak torque at 2800 rpm (very low in the band) instead of 5000 - 6500 rpm like the new mills do. The car weighs 4796 Lbs without fluids (gas oil coolant brake fluid etc etc etc) or driver - also known as curb weight. Mine has 2.82 gears in the rear differential (in the 60's you could custom pick gear engine transmission packages.) it rides and handles more like a muscle car than a land yacht, and if you want to impress a date, this car will get you laid - Lo o o o ts of room in the back (bench style) seat, or the front for that matter. [Liquids clean up off vinyl seats v. easily Brylle creme stains vinyl though ] Oh yeah, 6-way power front bench seat, speed alert buzzer, optional under dash kleenex dispenser, A/C, optional 15" aluminum brake drums[instead of the factory 12" cast iron] Rochester 4-jet carb, optional switch-pitch tranny, HD 4-core radiator, coil springs and 2 1/2" diameter anti-sway bars for cornering stability, optional power main & quarter windows. Mine is emerald green - photo-chromatic.
She's a beautiful, one of a kind, classy ride.

Not restored -factory original with 55,000 original miles on it when I bought it in 97 (61,274 now) from the original owners. And yes, garaged her entire life and never driven in the snow or salt. The hubby had his car, the wife had her car, the Wildcat was the going out car. This is one of the rare ones you read about in a magazine or something. I got lucky. No rust. Firewall chalk markings are still there. All #'s match. Special order factory build. One of a kind with original paperwork. I found the build sheet behind the back seat.
And yes, she looks nicer than the one in the pic I dropped.

Just think of her as a skylark on steroids.
