McCain reached across party lines to drive home support for the Ukrainian people.  He partnered with Sen. Chris Murphy and visited war ravaged areas to fully investigate conditions on the ground. McCain and Murphy the reason Obama had to push sanctions against Russia; even as an Obama supporter I'm not sure he would've risked losing Putin in the Iran negotiations over Ukraine without the push coming from these senators.

And to even suggest that McCain and Kerry, who both served with valor, conspired to abandon any American soldier anywhere is at best folly and at worst treason.
