I never actually read this book when it was published in 1987, but I vividly remember the Trump Hoopla from back then, and today, nothing has changed. It's the same guy.

I realize that I'm not sounding like a Trump defender/supporter here, but that's because, of course, I am not. However, I find all this incredulous amazement at Trump vying for a national candidacy to be asinine in the extreme.

Same guy, just wilder hair.

My husband is an avid profootball fan and loved attending the spring/summer USFL games back in the 80s. He  blames Trump shenanigans and greed for it's demise. The Donald might have been victorious in court in his antitrust lawsuit, but the award of $1 in damages by the jury was not enough to sustain the league. Not everything that Trump touches turns to gold.

Before we let this country slide into the cesspool of elite, intellectually superior, science-based, blistering liberal stupidity -- I say give it to Donald.

Something like The Battle of the Greasy Grass, but better...

Right.  Because having an intellect and science are bad things.

The "cesspool" will be named the Ronald Reagan Memorial Cesspool (because all Republicans in Congress do is name things for St. Ronnie), in honor of how he decimated this nation through supply side economics.

But your definition of intellect and science (characterized by human rights abuses, political repression, ethnic persecution, extrajudicial killings, nepotism, corruption, and gross economic mismanagement) comes straight from the Edi Amin Dada play book...

Fixed it for ya!  Who's your Dada?

Karl, when you come to realize that your vision of "Liberals" is actually a perception of "Technocrats," you are going to completely lose your shit.

Quick Karl

People that need to belong to a clique, and that take offense to any critique of the clique's dogma, entertain me...

It is the desperate embrace of the label that I find laughable beyond any human's ability to describe. It is like watching football fans gets pissed because their team is losing - as if they are actually on the team...

Stupid as shit.

Jackstar

So, you're using "stupid" as a label...

With reference to clinging to a clique, yes.

Exactly, sir. I've always said, you are a veritable genius! Way smarter than many folks that like to "act" smart...

The Donald has declared bankruptcy four times. Why do you think he'd make a good president?

... of whom are you asking this query?

And he's built hundreds of businesses. He's also worth $10B.

The kid's done alright.

Bankruptcy laws, are laws, passed by the liberal scum you worship, and the republican machine scum you rail against.

Why aren't you concerned about Solyndra costing the taxpayers 500-million dollars in their bankruptcy?

Oh, that's right -- that was an Obama thing, so it's OK...

Had to bring Obama into the picture, didn't you?

Racist.

Reported.

;D ;D ;D

It's amazing - bankruptcy laws were/are written by the Congress/Senate to give themselves a way out when they fuck the little guy, and by default, everyone else has the right to use the same law (unless it is Obamacare or insider trading laws, which they've exempted themselves from) and Donald Trump is "mean" for using the bankruptcy laws the way every other business uses the law.

But, Obama, Holder, Lois Lerner, and Jonathan Gruber, can LIE right into everyone's face, and it is OK.

And we're mean and secretly the KKK when we point out the blistering hypocrisy...

Jackstar

What if he went bankrupt six times and was now worth twelve billion? Would that lessen or enhance his suitability?

"Hey, this guy who wrote a book called The Art of The Deal is gaming the system. How dare we make him its figurehead?"

It's early yet, but on paper, how can we not make this guy share the secrets of his haircare with the Secret Service?

The reason Trump is surging in the polls is NOT because people are "stupid" as the elite, intellectually superior, science-based liberal-left would like everyone to believe...

Science-based?  As opposed to what?  Ignorance?  Superstition?

I have no evidence to support this but I do believe that he gamed the system -- just like every other cocksucking festering shitpile in Washington, DC, and/or party apparatchik that is running for their respective crime family's nomination...

I'm surprised that so many of my stalkers (excluding you, of course) do not get this?

Quick Karl

When the entire power-mad-political-media-corporate-complex, and every screaming faggity and/or straight liberal is attacking you, you KNOW you are doing something right!  8)

That was intended to offend a few elite, intellectually superior, science-based, liberal assholes that offend me by missing the satire in MY elite, intellectually superior, natural-born-genius, perfect opinions.  ;D ;D ;D
