I try to keep it real.

You do indeed.  Still perhaps you'll consider a change of scenery?
Come on over to Dixie bud.

We've got trees, flowers, grass:

Sorority girls:

Bojangles Chicken:

I will admit, I don't care for the Lakes here.  Being a Michigan native, I fervently believe that lakes should be blue and not brown. But hell, at least they have water in 'em...........

I would enjoy a change of scenery, Michigan seems pretty cold.

When you talk about wasteland of California I thought you were kidding.....  :(

I grew up in Southern California further north from there.

I hope you read this Myke.  It would make an excellent topic.  You could even be your own guest. ;) ;D

I've been there many times, and yes I could be my own guest for that one. Perhaps I'll talk about it in the near future, possibly with a resident of the area... so they can tell all the wild non-sense, that ensues out in slab city.

By the way... the Tuesday show i'm talking about heavens gate.

Hard to feel sorrow for those who have the world in their palm, resources we will never see.... Yet so unhappy & wreckless. Yeah, I'm sure going to feel sorry for leaving a wife & kid behind.

I don't usually listen to the show back in it's entirety, this was an exception. I really enjoyed my guest Jerry, the guy has an incredible story. I let loose yet again second half, I hope you enjoy.

Episode 107: Extrasensory Perception

Michael welcomes Jerry Wills to the program. Jerry is a well-known international speaker, radio, and internet TV broadcaster. Devoting his life to helping others through his unusual gifts, Jerry Wills is an intuitive healer who investigates the science and history of healing techniques ignored by the modern world for centuries.
From a young age, Jerry Wills understood the movement of energy through all things. However, after many scoldings, he learned to keep his unique gifts to himself. That is until 1981 when a near-death experience gave him a second chance to stop wasting his life and share his talents.
It took another 20 years for his abilities to be accepted. Now, people seek him out from across the world for classes, lectures and help in the art of healing. His greatest reward comes from seeing the faces of people he’s helped and their families once they realize their problems have vanished, and they’ve been healed. Jerry goes into depth about his trials and tribulations.

Jerry Wills had his first contact with extraterrestrials in 1965, when he was twelve years old. At that time, he would stay outside, night after night, watching star-like objects darting at right angles high in the sky over his house. A few months later, he had a close â€" up sighting of a typical flying saucer â€" a hovering metallic ship with blinking colored lights.
The next year, in the same location out in the woods, he was approached by a blond â€" haired blue â€" eyed stranger dressed in a beige jumpsuit and a silver belt. The man said his name was Zo, and that he was an extraterrestrial. And so began a very complex series of contacts in which Jerry was taught about science, history, philosophy, religion and other subjects. The aliens visited him three to six times a month for over five years.

Conversation turns to Peru, Jerry takes groups of visitors out on tours, that are not like the others. As things wind down, Michael asks Jerry about Zecharia Sitchin.

*After the break*
Michael speaks openly about Anthony Bourdain & The on going drama between Gene & Chris.
