He could check for sleep problems.  The capacity to form new memories mostly shuts down when you sleep.  That might be taking place for you when you're awake (a.k.a. black out) especially if you have a history of heavy drinking or barbiturate use.

I'm sorry but your assertions and misgivings are wrong. I am not sharing my experiences because I am looking for, seeking, or need attention, intervention, or medical or assessment of any kind concerning MT events and experienced. I started this thread for those others wanting to talk about experiences with others who have also had Missing Time. I can assure you that alcohol abuse or drug abuse, with barbiturates or any other kinds of drugs, is not a factor (at lest not in my case) when dealing with my MT events and experiences. So I can categorically state (again) that I have found that there is nothing that can be done medically or otherwise to stop MT events. They seem to stop and start on their own for no discernible reasons found.

You may also have narcolepsy.  Your doctor could assess and potentially eliminate those possibilities.

My medical conditions are something that me and my doctors discuss at least 2 a month. They have been mopping up or cleaning up the damage being done to my heart and internal organs for almost 20 years; I stopped asking after about the tenth year . Since the beginning of my ordeal my doctors have told me that there isn't a medical explanation for what is going on with the organs inside of me. They appear to be aging more quickly then they should be aging. So I can categorically state (again) that I have found that there is nothing that can be done medically or otherwise to stop MT events. They seem to stop and start on their own for no discernible reasons.

I just think a medical explanation is more likely than a supernatural one, and we can't really assess it here.

I'm not so sure that a "supernatural"  one wouldn't be too far off. Unfortunately, there aren't any readily available - is there. So I can categorically state (again) that I have found that there is nothing that can be done medically or otherwise to stop MT's. They seem to stop and start on their own for no discernible reasons.

If you have not experienced any MT events then this is some place that you probably shouldn't be.

What is your mission? Are you trying to warn others off and away from a thread that's open enough to let them express their thoughts; and emotions regarding their own MT events, or those of someone's that they know?

Thank you for your explanation.  It sounds like you have had some difficult experiences.  I wish you well.

I inferred from your initial posts that you seeked an understanding of your missing time.  Based on those posts, and I think legitimately, I became concerned you had a sleep disorder.  In compliance with your implied request for understanding, I attempted to offer the help I could by sharing the benefit of my education in neuropathology attained from the psychology department of my local university.  I gently suggested you explain your experiences to your physician.  You asked me to clarify, so I elaborated.  My only mission was to try to help. You will note, as with some of your other threads, I was the only one to offer an honest reply.

As with those other instances where I offered realistic alternatives or tried to clear up technical misunderstandings, you accused me of having an agenda.  I played along with the joke at first but all jokes become stale.  So, I thank you again for your explanation and wish you the best, but I think it's best that I comply with your request and ignore your future posts

They have been mopping-up or cleaning-up the damage being done to my heart and other internal organs for almost 20 years; I stopped asking after about the tenth year. Since the beginning of my ordeal my doctors have consistently told me that they have never seen my condition effect someone at my age, and there isn't a medical explanation for what is going on with the organs inside of me. They appear to be aging more quickly then they should be aging. Right now it is a stop gap approach that they are employing. So I can categorically state (again) that I have found that there is nothing that can be done medically or otherwise to stop MT events. Thank you for your explanation.  It sounds like you have had some difficult experiences.  I wish you well.

I inferred from your initial posts that you seeked an understanding of your missing time. Based on those posts, and I think legitimately,

I became concerned you had a sleep disorder.

Exactly where is your concern justified?, and where in my "initial posts" do I emphatically state that I seek an understanding of this phenomenon from you or anyone else in those "initial posts"? I, myself, believe that a clearer and deeper understanding of what and why these MT events are taking place.  It is facilitated through a type of osmosis. But there are those who do have, and will have questions.....lots, and lots, and lots of questions. Unfortunately there are few answers at this particular moment in space/time.

In compliance with your implied request for understanding, I attempted to offer the help I could by sharing the benefit of my education in neuropathology attained from the psychology department of my local university.

You have taken some classes at your local college or university...have you or can you obtain a license or any credentials with this education you have obtained? How can you offer the benefits of any assumptions; you can not! Anything offered up must be seen as  amateurist at best. You must have the proper licensing or credentials to offer anything authoritative to anyone. You most certainly weren't complying with anything that I requested in my "initial posts".

I gently suggested you explain your experiences to your physician.

There again. I would have let you or anyone else in the thread know that I have been working with my doctors the better part of twenty years now. But as I pointed out to you that you were proffering nothing fundamentally relevant or new. So it would appear that you were eager and ready but a bit too early with your assumptions. I can categorically state (again) that I have found that there is nothing that can be done medically or otherwise to stop MT events. They seem to stop and start on their own for no discernible reasons found.

I'm sorry, but you seem to understand how forums work. Whatever you write in them is expendable. The "real discussions" take place off of the board. In secret. In private. And not in disguise. Aside from that Sun / energy thread, how many other posts do you count? I believe that the Missing Time thread is the only other thread on which you commented on something that I wrote. Were there others?

Please....everyone that comes into this forum has an agenda. Whether it's trying to bully Art into staying the course (at least to think that's what they're doing). To just hangin' out for a little while. In any event I do believe that Art will have to start teaching Airyn and Asia the business from his side of the mic fairly soon. He appears to be running out of time. Kind of what John was doing with Yoko Ono and Sean. Was Julian involved? In any event, time is not really on our side.

What joke(s) are you referring too? What joke(s) have become stale? Can you post or help me to locate any of these stale jokes to which you refer? I wasn't aware that I was posting too much of anything not even something stale.
