Really enjoying the show tonite.  I'm going offline to catch the last hour.  Hopefully will pick up on some esoteric wisdom before drifting off.   ;)

Absolutely.  And how long has it been since we heard a caller bring anything remotely approaching drama to any of these shows?  And Knapp gets two?

Great interview.

Good show last night!  Thanks, Mr. Knapp.  Just a few days of suckage and then on to LMH and another weekend of GN.

Darn.  With my anxiety connected to moving (still haven't found a place, very limited means), I'm unable to adjust my sleep schedule.  I'd wanted to be up for this one, but instead for several hours in advance I was quite wakeful, then lay down just in time for it, and in minutes was asleep (felt good, though).  Woke up a min. or so in the middle, then again after it ended.  Then as has been the case lately, couldn't get back to sleep easily.

Yes.....it was a fantastic program.  The two callers in the last segment were interesting, to say the least.  I was listening to the very end.

Looking forward to LMH.....and, as you, will anticipate another good Sunday night!

Go to:  SITarchives.com........you can find the program there.  Also, YOUTUBE usually carries old programs.  You will be able to find it on one of those sites.

Uncle Duke

Not a big Redfern fan, but at least this type topic is one at which he's quite capable.  He's far more suited to nebulous, creepy wowo stuff than factual history based research and/or nut & bolts ufology and related issues.

I thought Knapp did a great job interviewing the LA reporter who did the book on Manly Hall.  I had come across Hall's name some years ago while reading about 1920s preacher Aimee Semple McPherson and her followers, but never researched him seriously.  As described by the author, Hall sounds a little like Rasputin.

Thanks a lot, My local station replays M-F shows the next day, but there's never a weekend replay because of Best of's Art and Noory . The Knapp shows are always the ones I don't want to miss because they are normally so good, and when I do accidentally fall a sleep I kick myself the next day.

No worries.....go to either one of these sites.

Yes, Church is....well, better than Noory.   Knapp's topics look ok......not as interesting as last week.  However, as so many have said here:  KNAPP NEVER DISAPPOINTS!

I'll skip the first guest but will tune in for the second half.  Still love Beatles lore even though I'm long over my earlier obsession phase.

Me too.  I still buy any new stuff Ringo or Paul puts out.  Gotta say though, Paul sounds old when he sings soft songs.  He has that tremble in his voice.  Ringo still sounds like Ringo though.

Too bad Paul isn't religious or he could go the Johnny Cash route and sing about the Apocalypse and all of that stuff.  Tom Jones made 2 very good albums over the last few years opting for a Cash style but still with a booming voice.

Beatles with Knapp might be tune in worthy

You mean something other than UFOs, gangsters, missing persons, whistleblowers, sasquatch....

I assume Frank Shamrock is a Vegas guy. I wonder if he's a buddy of Knapp. I wonder how Knapp/C2C will feel with such a random guest for an entire half-show?

Well....duh.  LOL.  I know I was stating the obvious but I was just rather bemoaning the fact.  Ya know what I mean?

Howdy y'all. Going to be interesting just hearing how Knapp turns this first half into an interesting interview.

'Allo!
with you yet am i.
missed most of this show, fadeing ground wave reception, local station behind hill now.
pondering Paulides, and familiar with Mr.Maccabee's work i am.
I would compare the subjective experience the lady describes to a number of accounts regarding the 'crack-between-the-worlds' kind of fairy twilight state.
Maybe you should look at an horror story about the Ommith/Amizda/whats-it/horla,"The wood where no bird sang".
Author's name escapes me,but probably early Blackwood's magazine.
Describes this well.
An almost-as-good reference is engl.tr.of Ossendowski's"Gods,Men,and Beasts"(?)where he qvotes some ancient steppes-mongolian peasants whom label this the receptive state broadcast from the "King of the World"in Shambala or equivalent.
All these folk struggled to put in-to words an ineffable felt experience.
It's easy to sit in one's comfortable arm-chair by the fire and belittle or dismiss this.

Hey, GS.  I'm just passing through tonight.  I simply have not been in the mood to listen to the radio much lately.

Frank Shamrock should be interesting. He was an UFC star when it was still seen as an outlaw sport and called "human cockfighting." This was of course before Zuffa and Dana White took over and turned it into  a what it is now.

Just settling in.  Hope all us Knappsters enjoy the show.  Lay it on us Good George

Shouldn't be a problem. I'd love it if Shamrock would discuss the old Lion's Den, where he and his brother Ken trained up and coming fighters in what was part Japanese "Young Boys" style dojo/part Marine boot camp. I've heard there were some hideous hazing stories.
