The Muslim fanatic(with a flag declaring his "message") was targeting strangers and demanded a phone call with a PM. The PA situation is a domestic dispute with specific targets. You can't possibly be serious in equating the two.

No, because mass shootings are so common in the US they don't even make it to the main page on American news sites.

Falkie2013

Victims were 34 year old man and a 38 year old woman.

Hostage taker was a 50 year old Iranian " refugee" known for sending hate messages to US troops in Afghanistan.

I hope Jazmunda and his wife weren't the victims. Or maybe they're hostages who escaped and are still being debriefed which is why he's not answering or posting.

If he is dead it would be a great loss to this board.

Disgustingly common. I could list 30 names who shot and killed 4+ people since 2011, and only Adam Lanza would jump out and that's because of their severity and  nearly 80% of the  victims being little kids.

It is possible he went to Sydney to get a cup of coffee.

I guess it is only a ten hour drive.

Who cares? Really is this going to change anything? So why does CNN keep showing it? You will never stop a lone act. So lets move on shall we!!1

Quite so. It's more intimate when you know the ones you're killing. Less cold and dispassionate. More fluffy and friendly.

Only 4? Since Sandy Hook there have been over 75 shootings in schools and colleges alone. That's not shopping centres, company premises or 'domestic'.

What a glib cunt you are. Really, your picayune commentary is only a cunt hair above Zoo's.

Killing threads without mercy, not with a hammer, but a blend of superciliousness and maladroit attempts at wit.

Oh come on. Are you seriously suggesting that any murder is less vile than another? A 'domestic' is somehow making it's innocent victims less dead?

There's no excuse for any murder.

Uh, yeah, since the very definition of "murder" is an unlawful killing of a person. So this would include a domestic killing or some crazy Muzzies killing people in their jihad. Of course, the Muslims themselves might considering it murder, but a lawful killing, because it is legal in their country, book, or fatwas.

You're the one who felt a need to compare and contrast murder by doing your patented "you vile Yanks are the worst" routine. Very brave and courageous stance you're taking in condemning murder.

Find another inferior American to troll with your one fuckin' note act. You boring cunt.

Who initially interjected the Pennsylvania spree   into this thread about Sydney? Not me.

    It was you, John Bullshit.

Couldn't be you. You let us know 3 times already that you don't. Nobody that cares would mention how much they don't so often.

There's 24 million people in Australia... think it's safe to assume Jazmunda wasn't the guy killed by the religious dude.  More people died from Aborigine bites today than died from religious murder in cafes.
