Kaine and Disable
Damn, you're quick... I was going to put "Kaine and unable"
Anyone who disagrees would start a "Kaine mutiny"
If he drove an old chevy, he could be "NovaKaine"  sorry ran out...

i dunno.... really i don't....

Quote"Secretary Clinton must know that her choice of Kaine can only inflame rather than soothe her relations with the huge constituency of Bernie supporters," Norman Solomon, co-founder of the online advocacy group RootsAction.org and national coordinator for the Bernie Delegates Network, told Common Dreams in response to the news.

Such voters, he continued, "will understand what it means when their efforts to challenge oligarchy have been met by Clinton's selection of a loyal servant of oligarchy. If Clinton has reached out to Bernie supporters, it appears that she has done so to stick triangulating thumbs in their eyes."

The twitter reactions are interesting. Anywhere from a very mild lukewarm reaction to vehement hatred from the left. The funny thing is tweet after tweet from left platforms have headlines like "liberals unhappy" except for CNN which had a headline like "Liberals Rejoice!"

CNN is such a disgrace at this point it's hilarious. It's the modern equivalent of Pravda during the pinnacle of Soviet Russia.

i'm guessing a hillary administration will have better "plumbers" than what nixon had and will be actively "plugging" what needs to be plugged.

How many know that Cooper is the son of Gloria Vanderbilt.  But he was hired (by Ted T) on merit I'm sure.

Every decision made in the Clinton campaign is data driven, i.e., algorithm trumps(!) judgement. You could say that Kaine was picked by artificial intelligence

I've been wanting to say this for awhile. But trying to rely upon the black community for a white plutocrat who's the very embodiment of evil and now her dumb cracker Vice President was the height of stupidity. Liberals are the most racist people and they're trying to confine minorities this election cycle and turn them into their pets on a leash was pathetic. I am so happy to see voices of the black community starting to turn on this shit with the #DNCLeaks. This is a major step towards unifying out country.

These idiots don't understand it was white liberals who wanted a post-racial society combined with vehement hatred of Dubya that got Obama elected the first time. The Republicans being in free fall got him elected a second time. But most of those white liberals are more financially fucked than '08 and Democratic values are threatening the fabric of our society. Why would trying to use a eight year old strategy based on obsolete 60s rhetoric work for a third time in a row with arguably the most pathetic Presidential candidate of the last few generations?

And that's even before the incompetence, criminal activity and corruptions the Democrats find themselves drowning in.

I honestly think that story is a bullshit cover. I watched those two do an interview--I see more chemistry from the plain yogurt in my icebox than I did between those two.

There's a story going around that Cooper is actually a clone/hybrid of Ann Coulter and Bill Maher. This is a story that I believe to be way, way more likely than that bullshit we're told about Sandy Hook.

Don't get your hopes up for blacks to break from the Dems.  Not with a step-over-the-bodies-of-starving-black-children rightwinger like Pence on the Trump ticket. Clinton has pandered to the black movement agenda  like no Presidential before...and that means let the Federal programs roll!!.

I think Trump would like to court them with a practical agenda; he understands creation of real jobs more than any PhD sociologist or economist, but the rightwing ideologues will start throwing sand in the Trump gears.

Give your rants against conservatives a rest please.  You seem to think you know what conservatives think but you are so far off base.  You've been force fed a bunch of lies by the liberals and mainstream media and you fall for it.  Hook, like and sinker.

I rant against both sides of the ideology arena.  Neither side is infallible, as too many believe of themselves. Ideological puritans are the biggest danger the country faces.

Good point. One of the reasons the leftists and Democratic Party wins Presidential elections, especially, is because (usually- we will see this year) they will coalesce and support whoever the nominee is. Republicans and conservatives, often, won't do that because they hold values and positions and, often, don't want to compromise them. So I disagree with the guy on issue X I won't vote for him. The "everything is relative" and "two steps forward, one step back" mentality and fluidity of the left makes it easier for them to compromise or think strategically and vote for a "lesser of two evils." Conservatives have to get over that thinking. Sure I would like a viable third party and Trump is bad on some things but a Billary Presidency? Country is over (at least as we knew it though it will still take a few decades, maybe.)

I'm a purist when it comes to the Constitution and original intent.  In other areas not so much.  Does that make me a radical?

I agree with you for the most part, albrecht, but I don't want to compromise when it comes down to the Constitution.  Is that wrong?

No, that is good. Though I'm good with sticking with the Constitution, I have some problems with what the "constitution" is supposedly now since it has become a 'living document' and various Court rulings and some of the later amendments, etc. We have gotten far afield from what our Founding Fathers said or meant and what the document actually states.

You must have missed when I was talking about Paul Ryan's and Ted Cruz's heads need to be on stakes outside of the RNC.

I must have.  Finding intelligent posts in these parts lately is akin to Falkie panning for gold. You doing OK?

Oh yes indeed.  That is very much the reason why I am frustrated these days.

I respect your position with respect to the constitution.  Serious question - what makes you think Trump would be a greater supporter of the founding fathers' intent than Hillary?

Are you sure you don't have me confused with someone else? Trump is the only Republican I like and even he scares me. I'm intrigued by Giuliani, Ernst, the Pauls, Carson and Christie. But it certainly wouldn't be any sort of loss if every other Republican politician dropped off the face of the earth.

Frankly, I don't have much confidence that he would be.  I have great fears about that to be honest.  However, the alternative is even worse.  I'm simply picking the lesser of what may well be two evils.   He has stated succinctly that he will put at least one strict constructionist on the Supreme Court though and I'm holding him to it. I may well regret my support down the road but I hope not.  I wish someone else with a chance was on the ballot but that is just a dream.
