Well, all of the Bellgab conservative pundits are offering their opinions.  Best to quote Comey himself from his presser:

"Opinions are irrelevant, and they were all uninformed by insight into our investigation because we did our investigation the right way. Only facts matter, and the FBI found them here in an entirely apolitical and professional way. I couldn't be prouder to be part of this organization."

Well, if I was on the fence for Trump before I am all-in now, baby.

And the mighty onan returns to insult the forum with his 'I told you so', which he didn't. Welcome back and please go away again.

Actually, I made a few posts suggesting this would be a tempest in a teapot. It is only on Fox news, Bellgab, and a few other right leaning arenas that have made this more than it was.

To each their own, there isn't a politician alive that doesn't get more than a fair share of contempt.

I didn't think she'd be charged but just how many damned felony's does one have to commit before some kind of charge is filed.

Should have at least gone to the Grand Jury.
I hope the people wake up and start acting. If you have the privilege to serve on a jury, especially a grand jury, keep incidents like this in mind. Voting, usually, is worthless (at least on a national level though I still encourage it, I guess) but serving on a jury (for now) is the last remaining peaceful way to protest the corruption and government over-reaches. Jury Nullification (or if you are alone then simply hold out under pressure from other jurors and the judge) to a hung jury. If you are on a Grand Jury you even have more power (in many places) than the 'system' will 'instruct' you- including ability to call witnesses, subpoena, expand your scope, etc. Besides the obvious (if you think the government didn't have enough evidence to convince you of someone's guilt) if you don't like the law, regulation, or tax use your power to 'nullify' it as a juror. Especially in tax cases or simple posession etc cases. On the other hand if some judge, politician, lobbyist, etc is the case before you and think the government hasn't proven the case? Who cares? Vote to convict. If you get on Grand Jury use that expanded power also.

Hillary; too big to fail.
Hopefully, the FBI is merely clearing the road so Bengazi can swallow Hillary whole and spit her into a prison.... Don't care if it's one of those country clubs, as long as she goes....

While it varies from person to person, you can generally get a pretty good answer by asking questions such as "what is your last name, how much money do you have in the bank, how many lawyers do you have on retainer, and who are your close friends?"

Incompetence in high office isn't a felony.  For Democrats, it's a prerequisite for the Presidency.

Because, in the weird world of moral equivalency, because Bush(s) did it (I include The Elder even more so but won't detail them all here) it is "ok" for Obama or Billary to do so? I guess if they jumped off a cliff, as the old saying used to be. But what bizarre moral rationalization. It reminds of this latest: Swedish female politican, I think, not sure what office, who had to take back and quit twitter because she posted how rape was worse if a Swedish man did versus a "refugee" because of their culture. Amazingly, bizarre, even suicidal mental twisting leftists and politicians have! And, really, anybody in public, or anywhere, should hold off on social media. It almost always bites you if you can't soberly manage it or have handlers at least take some time to analyze the fall-back. The gut reaction "immigration is more important than rape" of a leftist is, usually, not a good position for most folks.

True True.  W (actually Cheney) drove me from the Repub Party after 30 years.  Maybe I should have said "For the Dems this year..."

Your rational is always convoluted and perhaps dishonest. It isn't a moral equivalency to point out the missteps of the Bush family.  It is a "scratching of the head" to the (what appears to be) dogged criticism that you continually and consistently point towards Obama, I'm sorry, that character Obama. Your posts are often so much a shotgun approach to conversation that most people find your position tiresome if not utterly confusing. I do think that is a strategy you use to deflate any arguments that may be offered against your onslaught. Perhaps you are that contemptuous of the sitting president. God knows, I had my fill of Cheney and Bush; I still have a tanker of bile, so I kind of get your vehemence. No one thinks rape is a trade off for immigration, no one. The issue is very complicated, which is too big a word, perhaps too good of a word for Trump. But to suggest Obama thinks rape is a trade off is irrational and one with the intellect that have should easily know better.

Welcome back! So why does Obama "catch and release" consider rape or various other crimes "ok?" Why should we release criminals? Or have an open border? But, more broadly, why do only Western Nations or Countries need to accept all and sundry? Nobody else does?
ps: thanks!  For the reminder for people "that," or "this" character Obama refers to his using different names, depending on the decade, and not abiding, or providing, any documents that would, in a great hypocritical standard, to a LEGAL person trying to apply for legal residency or work permits in most countries (signatories to the Hague Convention, 1961.)
https://apostilla.com/hague-convention
pps: Onan, as much as I like you, you can look the lengths to which European countries are trying to 'educate' "refugees," usually Muslim, but not always, with regard to rape or abuse and also how they are telling citizens, usually girls (but sometimes boys even) how to dress, act, etc lest there normal dress might get them attacked. Some pools even have started various sanctions, lest they offend (or get more rapes.) I just saw one where a FKK in Germany was told to put on clothes because of a "migrant" camp nearby. Ha. (Not that I'm saying I support nudism but funny, in a way.)

Hillary has always been a piece of garbage. I would rather vote for an Alpha-Draconian earth overlord than vote for the she banshee.

So to be clear, Comey admits Clinton broke the law. Then states they will not recommend indictment. Last I checked it wasn't the FBI Directors job to interpret the law. Isn't thay why we have an entire branch of the government?

VtaGeezer

I'm already sick of hearing about what an independent straight-shooter Comey is. His announcement put the lie to that.  His decision shows the total breakdown in the US justice system related to political corruption as appointed political lawyers have usurped the authority of the courts.  He should have had a big pitcher of Koolaid on his podium yesterday.

Just one of many examples over time:
https://www.fbi.gov/sacramento/press-releases/2015/folsom-naval-reservist-is-sentenced-after-pleading-guilty-to-unauthorized-removal-and-retention-of-classified-materials
Mr. Nishimura should've had his spouse have an "accidental" meeting on the Tarmac with Lynch or simply changed his name to "Clinton" prior to the investigation.

VtaGeezer

It's final.  Lynch announced today that no charges will be filed against Clinton over her classified email scandal by DOJ.  Mission accomplished, Bill and Barack.  We can look forward to a proven but uncharged felony-level criminal as President.  Meanwhile her opponent is pilloried  for trivia and innuendo.

Bill's buddy, and convicted pedophile, Epstein claimed that he co-founded the Clinton Foundation in a letter in which he tried to use his connections with Bill to get out of his sex charges. I wonder how much Foundation business was really discussed on "Orgy Island" and the "Lolita Express" flights? I'm guessing he and Bill had other activities on their minds.

Who didn't see this coming?  I give you "The Hillary Defense."

“I’m going to use it every chance I get, particularly in oral arguments. I’m going to bring it up over and over and over,” Riley said, adding that he thinks Clinton and her team engaged in “an egregious, egregious security violation.”

“Any other person would have had their security clearance revoked,” he said."

So, one has to ask why she isn't being charged.

Do you see how she misworded that? LOL

When African Americans talk about the unseen barriers White Americans face everyday ; White Americans need to listen better.

--edit--

Unless she meant that ; and i'm just thinking from a black folks point of view... although i do listen to 'black folk' music and i am smoking a joint right now.
