I watched a documentary (I don't remember the name) about a Yogi who claimed he never, ever ate. He said he meditiated for sustenance and charged his followers a fee to teach them his amazing techniques. The producers of the film secretly followed him to a cafe and caught him eating. busted.

Yes I heard about that one, didn't see it, but apparently the guy said he could get all his nutrition directly from sunlight.

Genesis I has the animals first.  Genesis II has Adam first, then the animals, then Eve.
Don't forget the Spock option.  That trumps them all.
^^this!!

I fast between meals but I also discovered a meal between breakfast and brunch.

That reminds me of my favorite definition of brunch, which came from a Simpson's episode "It's not quite breakfast, not quite lunch, and comes with a slice of cantaloupe at the end."

Well it was Homer who originally discovered the meal between breakfast and brunch.

I've never discovered anything, but maybe I could still discover a new meal time.  I'm thinking of when you're microwaving nachos at 2am.

This book would probably make the New York Times Bestseller list.

I'm not a fan of religion. Too much focus on vengeance, punishment, and unquestioning belief for me.

This video pretty much sums it up

Its doing ok on Amazon. Its number one in electronic kitchenware and DIY recipes. Right behind "Microwaves for dummies" and "frozen food for beginners" I'll be a dollariare soon. Cant wait.

Wait, wasn't that Merry and Pippin and their Elevenses, now with wild mushrooms? Or have I read Tolkien one time too many and am now in the Shire, permanently?

Yep the hobbits definitely were on the cutting edge of mealtime innovations.

You are right. Didn't they have 1st and 2nd breakfasts?

"Hobbits have 7 meals a day. At least. Not including snacks.

The hungrier ones subsist on:

1st Breakfast
2nd Breakfast
Elevenses
Luncheon
Tea
Dinner
Supper"

No doubt- some scientists are going the way of religion! Shame on them. No offence intended to religious people. All groups have a range from outstanding to despicable and everything in between. Unfortunately, the lower range seem to get the most press these days.

Bill Nye Debates Ken Ham HD

This debate was pointless.  Ken Ham's explanation for everything is "because Bible".  You can't debate someone with that mindset.  Creationism is based on faith and there is zero fact to support it.  It's unfortunate that a lot of BACF's get stuck in a very legalistic way of thinking about the Bible and all things spiritual.

I think Bill Nye's concern is valid.  America is getting dumber and Creationists and BACF's are leading the way to the bottom of the drain.

Bill Nye is pointless. He`s a mechanical engineer. And apparently, a confused one, at that:

My brother is a mechanical engineer, and I would wager, a bit more on the ball than ol` Billy boy, but I wouldn`t send him out to impersonate a scientist and debate hard science.

Creationists don't debate hard science. Well they do, but it's hard for them. Such as variously suggesting the Earth is 6000, 100000, or several hundred thousand years old, and humans just turned up three or so thousand years ago. Oh, and 'god' planted carbon dated fossils of several million years to test faith...yep...I'm convinced.

Certainly not me. Or them.

Then what`s the point of bringing it up?
