I did years ago - and got banned soon after for making a non-offensive pun about something snoory said.  It was a Malaprop of some sort - funnier 'n hell and I said as much.  Probably the last post I ever made there.

:'( -NOT!        :D

Same thing happened to me, Star, only I posted to BadBoy, told him to delete my account, then asked him if he was mentally ill.

Right now NHZ is down again. (10/11/2010)

do you possess knowledge with regard to his psychological well being?

Are you asking if he's certifiably bat-shit?
the answer would be, "yes."

Okay, new friends, I have to admit, I have an addiction.

Not something I'd ever admit to my three year old, but I find I'm compelled to visit that ridiculous Nighthawk Zone.

Unfortunately, it's like rubber-necking past a car accident; you know it's wrong, but you can't help it.

The other night, when Snoory had that awful, narcissistic lawyer on who supposedly was an alien abductee, and Planet X expert,  even
those idiots couldn't really defend it.  That poor Midnight person; he's probably banned by now.  He dared to say that "tonight's show is a bit off".......

Now, I see that registrations are once again closed, and you can't lurk there.... ;D

It's like being dressed up in a costume.  You can see everyone, but they cannot see you.

That would be interesting to see how they handled that upriser.  How dare he post a negative comment!  They were probably all sent to bed without milk and cookies.  Badboy probably did not provide snacks the next nite either.  The commoners had to take a collection or George shipped in some e-foods direct.

haha

Never went there before but just checked it out. It's just like you'd imagine a site that idolizes Noory would be. A boring coffee clatch that doesn't even comment on the show, just banters back and forth saying hi to each other. BadBoy reads like some guy with zero intelligence who just discovered the net and repeats everything he hears like he's a reporter.

Hi Tao

Looking forward to LMH's fascinating report about George's languishing gonads!

HAL 9000

Quote from: b_dubb on October 09, 2010, 10:11:35 PMthe hosting account that is being used for that site might not have the capacity to host a site with LOTS of traffic and activity.  there are bandwidth issues and database capacity.  there are good reasons for shutting off registration.  and if you're having trouble accessing the site ... it may have used up it's bandwidth for the billing cycle.  or been hacked.  or just plain broken. just sayin ...

I can understand why you might think these things, but I can guarantee you, none of them are correct. I know EXACTLY why BB locks down his site - I can only reveal via PM. The hosting company (which is one of those FREE hosting sites BTW - BB only purchased the NHZ domain, and then redirects to the free-hosting site) can handle up to about 800-900 simultaneous users - I've seen this when  Snoory makes a call-out, initiated by BB, to try and crash their site. It has never crashed.

As we all know he is a control FREAK. I'm talkin' freakin' FREAK. I happened to lurk there just 2 nights ago, and a longtime member there named Nikkianastasia, who has ALWAYS been a reasonable poster, had made several - perhaps 3-4 posts, about how the guest, Gerome Corsi and Snooory were constantly patting themselves and c2c on the back, and she found this annoying.

I came within milliseconds of archiving that webpage, as I thought it extremely unusual that BB would allow ANYONE to criticize, in however a small way, c2c.

Well, as predicted, once BB logged in and saw these posts, he deleted any and all posts regarding that topic. Fucking asshole FREAK. Ever notice, this sociopath literally never engages in conversation with any other member? Other folks will be having conversations about "whatever" but BB never responds or engages. He is a FREAK.

Here is BB's pattern: he LOVES George, because Snoory gives him attention. Ian and G. Knapp do not. So BB will keep NHZ "unlocked" during the week, and ESPECIALLY on Friday night, when Snoory inevitably mentions NHZ just as the 4th hour begins, then BB has an orgasm on his keyboard. But because Ian and Knapp pay him no attention, it is not unusual - though it doesn't happen all the time - BB locks it down during the weekend.

Even during the week, lately, BB will only unlock NHZ when the show is on, and locks it down during the day. I offer to any member here: when it's unlocked, go into the "live zone" and see if you notice any "patterns" for the shows for that week. See anything unusual?

As I think we can all concur, BB is a mental midget attention whore, and loves to hear his moniker once a week on Fridays. Imagine for a moment: look at his site and notice how many posts he has, then do the math... how many posts that breaks down to for every minute of every day, of every week, for the past 4-5 years. It's astounding - actually sadly so. But of course, even when you do the math, remember that these posts are overwhelmingly only made during a four-hour period each day. Virtually 365 days a year.

Imagine - virtually one-sixth of your life is completely and utterly devoted to listening to a radio show, and the pathological need to repost a few sentences that someone just spoke on this radio show. FASCINATING! (note how BB uses the word fascinating very frequently now, just like Snoory does.)

So, 4 hours a day listening to c2c - maybe 8 hours a day at a job (unless he just lives in his mom's basement) - maybe 3-4 hours watching the Sci-Fi channel, and your days off going to comic book and sci-fi conventions. You are pathologic BB. Since we know he lives in/near San Diego, he stays up until 2AM at least, which probably means he does not work a regular job which starts at say 7AM or 8AM... maybe his shift at BB King (get it - BB King... hahaha - very tiny joke there) doesn't start until 11AM.

I was a member there just after it started, and became "friends" with a few people there - but like so many others, was banned for some silly Hitleresque reason - I know for a fact he was reading PM's. I lasted only a few months.

Hey BB - how does it feel to not be in complete control? Muahahahahaha....

I see BB as that security guard / employee who takes his job "a little too seriously."

I worked @ Best buy from 2001 - 2003. One day a guy came in and was looking at a laptop, disengaged from those secuirty "wires."

After 2 mins, he bolted and ran through the front door. I worked in cellular / satellite / PDA's at the time, and my department was very close to PC Home Office... 2 very low level employees ran after the guy like they had stock options in the company! And then the Loss Prevention guy comes up to me and ask "why didn't you run after him?"

I reply "huh? My job is to sell cell phone's, palm pilots and satellite receivers with extended warranties and accessories. I get (at the time) paid $9 an hour. Do you REALLY think I'm gonna run after someone, when it's totally not in my job description, for $9 an hour?"

Loss prevention managers response "Wow you're right, those 2 are morons." LMAO!

Good for you!  I don't blame you a bit.  It's also awesome that you were honest when he asked why you didn't run.  Me, I'd act like I didn't know what happened if directly questioned, but there's no way in hell that I'd run either.

Here is one take on the Nighthawkzone.  They are the legals and we are the illegals.  Badboy is the border guard, and he is very strict on enforcment.

I propose that he should grant amnesty immediatley to all lurkers and allow us to become legal by having open access to the forum.  That would be very diplomatic.  Imagine the fun!

But I suppose that the Nighthawkzone is not a democratic enterprise and any prospect of an equitable solution is not obtainable.  I just hate to lurk, or join illegally, and be deported by not being access to the control panel.

Si' Amigos.

we would need to stagger our respective registrations over time, though.  can't have some massive influx of new members over there at once.  surely that douche isn't too dumb to see something's up if we flood the place.

Recently in the news there was a Dutch Bros coffee barista who was robbed at gunpoint who incidentally shot and killed one of the robbers. Possibly with the robbers' own gun. He was placed on a month's suspension for violating the company policy. Now in that case it is ridiculous because he defended his own life. But people who go after thieves for a laptop, or a 6 pack of stolen beer, etc. should be held accountable.

The last caller on open lines last night was one of the NHZers.  He said "We've had a bunch of new people on tonight, but I guess that's just how it goes."  Why is that a bad thing?  If they weren't a bunch of wet noodles that place would be jumping from all of the mentions on the show.  George then fell all over himself making sure the guy told BadBoy hello for him.

I just went there to see what was going on last night.  Apparently George or someone claiming to be George was posting under the name Willowbee.  Yeah,  all of last night's posts made it to 3 pages.

I have a recording of those pieces you speak of - I'll have to say, with all due respect to the elderly, the NHZ caller (I won't reveal his nick here, but you'll here it on the recording) sounded like an Alzheimer's patient blathering on about the "face on Mars." He sounded like he was 112 years old - again, with due respect to the elderly.  ;)

Quote from: punkinpie on December 04, 2010, 10:14:33 AMI just went there to see what was going on last night.  Apparently George or someone claiming to be George was posting under the name Willowbee.  Yeah,  all of last night's posts made it to 3 pages.

Yes indeed, but here is the key part - it's not how many responses they have (and therefore how many pages) - this is always a low number. The MAXIMUM amount of members they have on at any one time is perhaps 5-6 (and this would be unusual) - they usually have 2-4 members on, on any given night, often with BB being the only one left, typing away to himself.

The anomaly you'd want to look for are the VIEWS. Notice how they vary WIDELY. During a normal night there, they may have 200-350 total views... that is, unless "someone" takes control, and then you'll see 60,000-70,000 or more views for a night.

One of my very recent posts called out BB and for any of us to look at his "Live Zone."

I KNOW I am in BB's tiny little head, and KNOW that he reads here, because THE VERY NEXT NIGHT AFTER MY POST, BB unlocked NHZ EXCEPT for the "Live Zone" (which he kept hidden from public view) which is where they converse. BB did exactly as I wanted him to, playing directly into my hands. His most precious possession, "The Live Zone" had to be hidden, so he could control his "forum views."

Well, last night was the exception - as it's Friday night, when BB gets his 5 seconds of fame, by Snoory calling out BB and NHZ, so he opened the "Live Zone" for last night. Gee, his views went suddenly from 200 to over 3,000.

BB has tried numerous way of blocking this, but is, and will continue to be unsuccessful, as last night proves. "Someone" has been toying with him, with great success - toying with his tiny mind, so that he obsesses over his little NHZ and their views. Which mean I  - I mean "someone" keeps him constantly busy trying to thwart those who have control over anything that is NHZ.

Let me give you a few other quirks - though I'd like to consider them more pathologies... BB MUST, I mean MUST at all cost, start the thread, and MUST be the last person to post and then close the thread. There are no exceptions to this rule. I have seen where someone has started a Live Zone thread as the show had started and BB wasn't there, only to have the thread deleted, and restarted by BB so that HE could be the first to post... and of course, the easy part is to see that REFUSES anyone to post last. There have been occasions when no one has been on the site, so BB leaves, then someone will post near the end of the show. BB comes back later that night or the next day, and MUST post himself, so he can be the "last one" so that his name shows on every LZ thread that he was the first and last. Pathetic.

So, a little callout to BB - he dufus - you are owned. One of two things: 1) you will keep your site locked down for the general public (thanks to me "someone" or 2) you will come to your senses and become normal, and allow for a public discourse. I'm quite certain #2 will never happen, as your shrew-like brain cannot comprehend real-world social interaction. So you'll kept NHZ mostly locked down - you'll open the topics no one cares about, and open the LZ only on Fridays, so "shrew-brain" can hear his FAKE Internet screenname. Hahahaha! You're pathetic, but you are like putty in my hands.

BB, you have any friends? You know, people you socialize with. People you talk to, interact with, discuss world events, politics - maybe even girls! Oh my, I think I've touched a sore spot there, haven't I BB? Socialization with members of society; but especially women. Do you know what it's like to actually hold a woman in your arms, maybe even kiss a woman. Have tingles in your stomach at just the thought of meeting her for date some evening. Ever have those feeling BB?

Now BB, having those feelings for an actress that plays a character on Stargate 9 DOES NOT COUNT! Actually seeing this actress at a comic book/sci-fi convention, though while it may give you a "thrill" also does not count. I'm talking about having a loving relationship with a woman - you know - a relationaship with someone other than yourself. I think we all know the answer to this, now don't we BB?

Come out into the world BB - the real world - where people talk, have conversations, go out to dinner (BB King doesn't count), laugh, have fun, interact. Have a conversation which doesn't involve a radio show, a guy named George, or Nibiru, Bigfoot, Hoagland or angels (George's beloved angels!) Come into the light BB. You might find it fascinating!

Unless of course you can't. Maybe "they" won't let you. You know, the one's who wear the white uniforms. The ones who give you your medications in the little plastic cup. Ah... yes... finally, the lithium has come - sweet lithium... now you feel better. Maybe they've given you a laptop, so you don't just sit on the floor and rock back and forth relentlessy.

Well, pleasant dreams BB. Remember the old adage: "Just Because You're Paranoid Doesn't Mean They're Not Out to Get You."

See ya later BB - maybe later tonight?  :)

punkinpie

HAL!   ;D  That was a litttle scary!  You do bring up some interesting points.  I didn't realize that he has to be the Alpha and Omega.  Creepy.

Maybe the guy has social anxiety or something.

I cannot figure out George's adoration and promotion of a website that insists on being a safe little enclave of three people.  If they're so threatened by newbies, wouldn't it be preferable not to be mentioned?  Friday nights are great because George says his screen name on the air?  It must be a double edged sword because it also means people disturb his solitude.

I tried reading it and got lost.

I thought the old guy complained about NHZ "not having many people over there tonight"? To me, doesn't seem like much different than any other night.

You are completely correct - the caller DID mention there were not many people online - and you are right again by noting this is nothing unusual... there are very few members EVER online there... which for me is somewhat of an enigma (and yet not).

Here is a national radio show that claims millions of listeners, with many so-called chat-rooms, yet the one Snoory singles out consistently is the NHZ which has 3 members online, and is of NO consequence. You'd think, if the show were really that popular, and with such an (allegedly) huge audience, that enough people would gather in one place, and love to chat among themselves.

I did create a LIVE CHAT ROOM a few weeks ago, but no one really knows about its existence - I did mention it in one thread here, and I think the link is in my signature, but have not promoted it in any way - so here's a tiny promotion:

It's a live chat room, where everyone who is in the room can chat with everyone in the room in real-time. It's similar to an instant messenger type thing, with the following exceptions: you can, of course, just type your message, but you can also "mike-up" meaning speak and be heard by everyone in the room, and can also turn on a webcam if you desire.

It is completely anonymous - there is NO sign-up of any kind - you merely go to the link, and it will assign you a "guest number" - which you can accept, or type in a nickname as you enter the room, and change your nick after you've entered the room. There are NO other conditions of any kind - you just show up. It is "open" 24x7, meaning if a few folks wanted to gather at say, 10PM EST, you just show up and voila!

Since no one really knows about it, it's empty - but as a test, we could all show up on some night to you can try it out. I've used TinyChat in other "rooms" and it works great. Like anything, takes a little getting used to it's features, but is easy to figure out. Maybe I'll be there during part if Ian's show tonight - the only problem being for me, that my computer is 11 years old, so I'm limited to how much I can do with the chat-room open on my computer.

The link is tinychat.com/coasttocoastam

Simple as pie. Maybe like a little real-time "meet & greet." No biggie.
