"TRUCE DAY" proposal

Hello everyone,
Based on a PM dialogue I had with one of our fellow Musings thread members (someone other than Circle of Trust members SixWeekTenure(tm) and BellGab's area51drone ), Ol' Gerry thought it would be a good idea to propose a "TRUCE DAY" to George. 

The idea would be that the Master would come back onto BellGab for one day in order to interact with his fans, supporters, and others interested in a respectful and dignified dialogue - as long as we promised it would not devolve into a prolonged, dragged-out, personal attack on him.  This would be your opportunity to enjoy his wit, wisdom, and opinion in an interactive forum where the man might choose to respond to you personally!

There will, of course, be haters and trolls who won't be able to help themselves, so there would undoubtedly be a peppering of negative posts made about George.  However, if the majority of us band together in the spirit of positivity, we should be able to keep the discourse upbeat, peaceful, and cordial.

I will not present this idea to the Master until I have heard back from some of you in this thread.  Will you make this commitment?  Would you like to have George back in our midst?  Will you restrain any urges you might have to denigrate the man so that we may be graced with his presence?

I also would agree to ONE day if Senda could reciprocate with ONE day of NOT bashing bellgab, or any bellgabbers.  The One Day Truce would have to go BOTH ways IMO.

That could work if he agrees to actually answer questions of the non-lewd variety posed to him.  He tends to give the question some vague acknowledgement and then bang on about an unrelated topic near and dear to him.

Personal attacks are not the reason he's stopped posting. It's due to the fact he is no longer allowed to beg or grift here, which is his only motivation for 'interacting' with anyone.

The Master has chosen to NOT participate in "TRUCE DAY," and I suspect we have comments like the one quoted above (as well as many others that have been posted by a select few since the suggestion was first broached) to thank for it.

George reminds us all that we do have HIS paranormal forum that his fans, subscribers, supporters, and other interested parties can register on if they'd like the chance to interact with him.  It is a haven for his devotees to converse with him in a civilized, supervised, and moderated environment, and all who care to show their respects to the man are encouraged to visit that site.

Given the nature of the response I received, and the invective that was used, Ol' Gerry regrets to inform you that I will not be able to ask George to reconsider.  I hold his trust too dear to betray it when I have been instructed not to bring it up again.
