Falkie reads a weather report and closes with the following:

"I’m dealing with no Kathy because last night we had a fight and I told her to get out and she left so I get to clean a mess that she left in my apartment and she left four boxes of crap on my balcony and if she doesn’t get it out in a week then out it goes."

Senda tossed his girlfriend of 39 years out onto the street.  It'll soon be dark, she's homeless, he has no idea where she is and he's gloating about it.  Senda is a piece of shit.

I buy t shirts for my videos. I choose to. But she buys them because she wants them and then complains that she has no money.
I've seen her go out and buy $75 worth of toys and then complains she has no food.
For years when we were not living together she would ask me for gas money to go out with her girlfriends, movie ticket money, etc.

I budget what I buy and then don't buy anything for months afterwards.
She buys stuff because it makes her happy and has racked up bills doing it.

I could never buy another video t shirt again and live with it.
Kathy buys this sort of stuff EVERY month.

When she was married she used to go to Oakland and beg me to buy groceries because her husband was drinking or snorting up the paycheck.

My move out date for her was twofold.
If she didn't find a place by Jan 1 she was going to have to start looking in Sacramento and the ultimate deadline was to be March 1st.
She's a slob and nothing but her attitude towards life can change that.

There's your problem.  Giving a lazy entitled person a deadline 5 or 6 months into the future doesn't provide the incentive, the sense of urgency required.  Then you included an automatic 2 month extension to March 1st on top of that, which made it easy to not take it seriously.

A serious condition of staying would have been requiring her to spend at least 5 hours a day 4 days a week looking, with a 2 month deadline.  With the provision it could be extended if she was truly putting effort into finding a place.  Some written house rules she agreed to as a condition of moving in would also have been appropriate, cleaning and chores, restrictions on noise, arguments, and fights would have been a good idea, expectations of money management, considering she was supposed to be saving for her move.

I hope she doesn't return, for both your sakes.  This relationship appears to have been running on fumes and momentum for years if not decades.  You are bad influences on each other, and the same goes for Patty.

Good morning, George.  The love of your life for the past 39 years has been homeless for 24 hours.  Do you have any idea where she is?  Is she safe?   Do you care?

You told us a lot about Kathy's imperfections yesterday to justify throwing her out on the street.  But do her imperfections really justify making her homeless?

You have a lot of imperfections.  You're loud.  You have a bad temper.  You waste money on t-shirts and woo-woo conventions.  You panhandle. You apply for credit cards so you can buy things you don't need and incur more debt.  You're lazy.  You refuse to work at a "conventional" job which you define as a job where someone determines your work hours and makes more money than you.  You have traffic fines you refuse to pay, even as you fritter your money away on "collectibles," Apple toys and woo-woo conventions.  Yet society does not wish you to be homeless.  Despite your numerous character flaws, the taxpayers provide you with $960 cash every month (SSI).  A place to live.  Free health care.  You probably get food stamps or SNAP as well.  Am I correct?

Society does all that for you despite your imperfections.  And you?  You toss the love of your life for 39 years out on the street because she has imperfections.  And if she doesn't come and collect her belongings, you're going to dispose of them.

How does that make you feel, George?  Do you have anything even resembling a conscience?

And no, I wouldn't be around if it weren't for Kathy on several occasions.
But... Gratitude and obligation only go so far.
Ultimately she and I just cannot live together.
She sees the world through her perspective and it is one skewed by her idea that she deserved better from life and that everyone, even strangers, are out to screw her over or did.
The gun on the white charger didn't ride up and sweep her up and put her in the shopping mall with the unlimited charge card and give her a mansion where the servants feed her dark chocolates and where every need and whim is met & it infuriates her.
