The Forman grill is useful as well.

I had one of the original Foreman grills and it worked fine....except for the cleanup after- that was difficult, so I didn't use it all that often.

About two years ago, I bought a new one with the removable grills which makes the cleanup much easier, as they can even be placed in the dishwasher, though typically I just wash them by hand so I can just put the whole thing away when I am done cooking.

Here is a question. What's the best and worst infomercial product you have bought?

Best for me is my Magic Bullet. My daughter had one first and used it a lot to make protein shakes. I use mine mainly to quickly make a great marinade for steak. It works very well,is  easy to store & is easy to clean.

Worst for me was probably a slushie machine that my son had gotten as a gift. From the first use, I could tell it was much more difficult than going to the 7-11. I let my son keep it for a respectable amount of time, before encouraging him to donate it to the less fortunate. Though in truth, I threw the thing in the trash, not wanting to put another Mom through such slurpie hell.

I really am enjoying all of these infomercial musings. Has anyone ever tried those dryer balls that are supposed to elinate the need for dryer sheets? And do the steamer cleaner machines really work to clean grout?

Once I bought the Eggie. Unsuccessful infomercial products usually spend their last remaining inventory in a dollar store, the graveyard of dumb inventions. This product was HORRIBLE. I knew it would be, but I was so curious to try it.

Listen, asshole. I had permission from her to use her card ( actually MY authorized user card ) 4 MONTHS before she died, was already on other accounts of hers and I never even saw her corpse because it was removed after she died preumably within minutes.
No matter what I did or did not feel about her ( and some of that is still MY business) I did not get a chance to say goodbye and felt nothing but sadness when she passed. I won't lie and say thatbthere was not a sense of relief on my part, but that came much later. Ah, I see, so you're the innocent victim in all this and everybody else is the scumbag.  Okay.  Got it.  However, if you are admitting you are not responsible for your actions then you should probably seek some sort of round-the-clock supervision.  It's also too bad that intent only applies to contract law and not to identity theft or fraud.  Even if it did apply it's not really relevant in this case considering that your usage of the card would demonstrate you had intent to fulfill the conditions of the contract.  You'd have to claim non est factum which would never work. 

And making a hate video of someone in the world's most public place, Youtube, is way worse than her including you in a little practical joke in the first place.  Can't you see that?

Patty drove down for an event and came here late with Kathy. If she doesn't get gas money, she bitches to Kathy about it and then Kathy bitches to me about it and I hear about it for days. It's easier to give her $10 than have to be aggravated over it.
They were supposed to be here early but since Patty doesn't think that Kathy's car is more mechanically sound than Kathy's she drives her unreliable car around.

We used our original teflon-coated one so much that we wore it out (the coating on the plates started wearing off), and recently replaced it with this one.  It cleans up like a dream, and the food barely sticks to it at all.  Highly recommended by Open Lines Gerry!

Patty is the sideshow.  Kathy is the real deal.  It sounds like Patty sides with you in debates with Kathy sometimes, but you already have Kathy and the cats to worry about.  Unfortunately for her, Patty should have no priority or ranking on the Falkie spending list.  You are a generous man, but your funds are limited.  I would put new video / iPad equipment over her "needs" as well.
