Another book for George Noory.  Falkie:  Man or Myth?

I don't know what I just watched in that latest video.  Falkie was cracking himself up, but it was such an awkward delivery, none of the rest of us were laughing.  I like how he reverted to a very somber tone at the end after all of the frivolity.

I was giggling at Falkie. He always laughs like that when he is reading a story he thinks is funny. And why does Area51 Drone need to be "freed"?

I think Falkie should review PRETTY WOMAN in honor of its 25th anniversary.

You might be onto something, SnapT. Resurrecting old movies, and reviewing them. Grade them on whether or not they are dated, or still relevant. I vote he reviews Fast Times and Ridgemont High. Seth Rogen is constantly revisiting old films., and shedding new light on them.

Drone is building a house, climbing on a roof to fix his Mother-In-Law's tv antenna in the rain.
He fell asleep on the phone while he was talking to me Sunday night.
The man is exhausted and he is my friend but he needs a rest.
The #FreeARea51Drone ! is in reference to that.
I'd have to watch them first & I don't care for Julia Roberts. Have never seen Fast Times.

Go look at my movie list.
I could review some of those.
It's on my list of things to do.

I did review this turkey but hadn't thought of doing a video review if it at the time.

Now I will have to.

Kathy was too sick to go out today.
She's going to GO to the doctor tomorrow one way or the other. She sounded worse on the phone.

Don't ya know..    Falkie is the puppet master pulling everyone's string.

Watch Falikie's videos from his studio before and after New Year's eve.
Then watch the video where he and Kathy are outside on New Year's eve.

Watch his glasses  ;)

What - your lively conversation and interesting musings weren't enough to keep him awake?  I'd probably fall asleep on the phone with you too!

It was 3 something in the morning and I just laid down while we were still chatting.   I didn't mean to fall asleep.

I thought the idea of demonic Cheetos was both hilarious and ridiculous. I couldn't stop laughing over it, but changed my tone at the end.
Funniest story I'd read in awhile. Sorry you didn't find it funny.

Yes, the glasses ARE the key and I AM the master.  ;) ;D

Drone & I talk for hours sometimes.
We've even discussed recording our phone calls as a podcast.
Of course he hangs on my every word. ;)

Who would have thought that an indy disaster movie that was a rip off of other disaster movie ripoffs wouldn't be anything other than a brilliant film? I for one am shocked that you didn't like it. I think your review moved into Ebert territory when you mentioned "the hot looking busty Mom".

SnapT

You have to review things that are POPULAR in order to be popular, Falkie.

Everyone is talking about PRETTY WOMAN right now in honor of the 25th anniversary.

Sometimes going to the obscure side is more interesting. Who gives a crap about pretty woman. It was awful anyway.

Sounds like it'd be a great review, then!  Falkie's most entertaining when he's annoyed.

Not a bad list. Hes got some good ones in there. The Magnificent Seven, and The Dollars Trilogy. Also X-Files. What did confuse me is when he said "I watched Annie on tape one night, then DVD, then Blu Ray" No wonder he never has money. Three copies of the same movie..

I can imagine it now, the two of you verbally caressing one another.  His thoughts are your thoughts, and yours are his - two minds intertwined in a loving embrace as you gently whisper sweet nothings into his ear.

Aside from movie reviews, you should consider adding the following segments:
- Crank call a person or business, and let us watch you in action.  Hilarity will ensue.

- Kathy's Korner - Kathy should have a regular segment.  Maybe she can share her favorite recipe of the week.  It has to be Korner with a "K" to give it some flair.

- Something for the kids.  Watching your videos should be an event the who family can enjoy.  Maybe you can make some illustrations, and hold them up to the camera while you tell a story.  Be sure to wear your funny mustache like you did in the demonic cheetos video.

No, the limited edition Blu Ray costs that much now. kathy was most distressed. it's one of her favorite movies.
Why should I be forced to wtch a movie with someone I can't stand to review it ?
I don't care for Will Farrell or Adam Sandler either.

No. As I told Little Chris who has gone competely insane because he thinks Kathy & I are brother and sister because we're never seen hugging or kissing on a video, those are our private moments and are not for public consumption.
Kathy feels the same way.
Kathy could talk about her favorite movies but it would be  four hour video if she started talking about the Alien movies or Predator.
I can't draw a straight line with a ruler.

an optometrist charges about $50-80 for an eye exam. a nice pear of unbreakable titanium glasses costs about $45 at Zenni.

I got my zenni glasses today.   They're actually nicer than the ones I paid $100 for.    Thanks again to whomever suggested them to Falkie.

Why don't you simply delete some crap from your drive? Or do you treat it like the "content" of your floor?

Why do you even need a CD drive in 2015?

Ther's still a lot of music out there on cd that I don't own. My older games are on cd and I have around a 1,000 cds. It took years for some  Jimmy Smith Verve albums to hit cds and vinyl is making a comeback. I don't like downloading music and even still have a few records.
As for the guy who commented on my having 3 copies of Annie, I guess he's never upgraded to new technology & is still watching super 8 movies, listening to quadraphonic or 8 track and watching tv on his space age Philco.
I gave most of my vhs tapes to Kathy & am slowly upgrading to blu ray from tape & dvd. Vhs tapes are .50 cents each at Rasputins and some films have never come out on DVD like a 1933 Humphrey Bogart movie I own. As each format changed the picture, color and quality improved. And sometimes small details can be seen as  in a Blu Ray edition that are neither seen on tape or on  vhs, such as people in an observation area above the shuttle bay in one of the TOS Star Trek films. The 1982 Annie is one of my favorite movies.

That company does not offer Transitions. Kathy and I went to Lenscrafters while we were in the mall last week. My current prescription would cost $450 there !
