Land to put it on (scrub land will do..no grass...Falkie has allergies).   What would a modest lot cost the Falkster?   $50,000?  It is California.

Set-up costs (Water, other utilities, etc.)  $6,000

Decent used Toyota Hybrid 50-70K miles:  $12,000

All of his shit out of pawn (GoPro, silver, god knows what else).  $2,000

Wedding ring for Kathy (make her an honest woman)...3-4X monthly salary taxpayer gift. $3,000

2 more containers for all her shit:  $2,000

All the things I am not thinking about:  $5,000

Total:  $85,000

Add 20% because everything costs 20% more than you think it does:  $17,000

Grand total:  $103,000

Falk grifts..er...earns between $900 and a grand every month.   If I remember correctly, after rent and other bills, he has $600 left over for food/other expenses.  If he cuts the fat out out his budget, let's say he could save $250.00/month.  $103,000/$3,000 savings per year.   It will take George somewhere in the neighborhood of 34 years to save the money.   He would be 99 years old.  This is quite possible for a guy who has cheated death a few times already.  But wait!  If Kathy wants in on this dream and contribute the same amount, it will take 17 years.  Of course, if all Falkie's haters and trolls kicked in a few bucks, he could accomplish *HIS* dream a lot sooner.  Of course, you are all a bunch of a-holes so that will never happen.

It is amusing to think of George going off to the bus stop in a huff because someone (a subscriber perhaps) suggested that he head over to the crime scene.   He's mad because not only are his subscribers not pitching in financially to his fantasies, they aren't even watching his videos. 

Besides, I think it would be a hilarious concept, a newshound hero who doesn't have a car, has to take the bus to the crime scene.   It would be all over by the time he got there, but he would interview folks in the area anyway.   Maybe they would know something, maybe not.  He could make a comment like..."I can still smell the cordite in the air."   Maybe he could dress like a half-assed superhero too.   At least THAT would be mildly interesting/entertaining.  Why couldn't he pull it off?  He's a classically trained actor.  He played the part of Snoopy for Christ's sake.
