When his mom died he used her credit card to go buy an iPad. He loved the iPad but he dropped it at Starbucks, the screen and casing cracked.
Rather than getting it repaired he decided he needed a new one. He put together a bit of money and got a credit card from Finger Hut. He talked about the deal but I do nor fully recall it, he gave them a fair amount of cash but they gave him more in credit.
So he used that credit to buy a second iPad. After all the payments were done he paid $1200 for his second iPad. He did eventually also drop that iPad but the crack was small.
The second one was allegedly stolen.
The first one was sent off for repairs.
