I'm pissed on your behalf and I'm on another continent. Seriously it pisses me off because I've had bouts of unemployment and had the indignity of justifying my existence every two weeks when I signed on to claim benefits. It was a soul destroying and humiliating period of time. Looking for and being rejected from countless applications; telling myself that 'I wasn't like them'. 'Them' being the ones turning up to sign on who wore $200 training shoes and dripping in gold. They were freeloading for that bit extra whereas I needed it for basic needs. Frighteningly basic.
