Lost kitteh chronicles

Soooo I found this lil guy out back we had a lil talk and I figured I'd see how he does with the cats here while i find out where he's from... but then he got weird n jumped up to the window. So I let him out front where there is a big bush and maybe he can acclimate to the cats here from the window.  He's very clean.  No ear mites, very clean coat, has all claws, but seems like he had to come from a home.  I'm guessing somebody in my building lost him so I'm thinking I let him stay here til I can track down the owner... i dunno.  Shot some video if you guys are bored I present to you "the lost kitteh chronicles."

Yeah she's eaten very well... gave her a few scoops of dryfood while she was out back but she wasnt interested in water.  Now it has rained here recently so maybe she just wasnt thirsty I dunno.  My girl came by and we've been talking to this unidentified female kitty with the window open.  Really thought it was a HE but no it's a SHE for sure.  She's also been given treats.  Everybody got treats to lighten the mood.

well, you've done all you can do for now. Your cat would probably freak if she came in. She'll be back for more food.  You could maybe put a towel down by the window for her to sleep on.

lol yeah my girl thought of that too! haha... she's laying there outside... we cant leave the window open all night tho so... not sure how this is gonna play out.  It's not too cold out so i think she'll be ok... being that she's female I'm more inclined to take her in til we can call around.  Yes I know my windowsill is dirty!

I love cats, IDK why some people hate them so much.
The window cat has some cool looking circular stripe patterns and I like the white diamond on his chest.  He def. seem domesticated and looking for food or attention.

My favorite part in the 2nd vid is when you say "IDK how that will work out"  the look of dismay on your cats face was so funny! LOL. Cats are so expressive.

Question, what is up with your black/white cats ears? Is that from an injury or cat brawl? He looks like an alpha fighter.  maybe genetics?
There was an alpha male cat around here a few years ago, who's ears were mostly gone, due to him fighting other male cats who would challenge him for his females. I felt bad for the guy, but he was NOT at all domesticated. Totally feral and his fights were epic!

He had horrible ear mites when I got him.  He has boxers ears from shaking his head about violently when he had the mites.  I took him to get his ears cleaned but his ears both had developed hematomas. Basically its a puss bubble but it messes up the cartilage when it heals.  He can hear find but yeah his ears are kinda mangled.  He's an alpha definitely.  The other cat in the apartment that you see in the vids is his daughter and they have all out brawls from time to time.  His wife also lives here.  She's the mother of his 2 litters of kittens he sired and tends to make herself scarce mostly. 

We're still leaving the window open til this movie is over... right now she's sleeping there on her towel.

I don't know about awesome... early this morning she must have rolled out cause we checked on her before hitting the bedroom no kitteh.  I even went out front and kinda called around no kitteh.  I like to check out the stars at night when they are visible using google sky.  No orionids and no kitteh were seen.  She hasn't returned yet today either that I can tell.  Will put out some food and hope for the best.

If I end up with a raccoon in that bush I'm gonna be mad!

Good Luck!  Anyone who helps out "strays" is OK in my book.   

If the ear is a straight cut it means she was TNR'd (trapped, neutered, and released) as part of a feral cat control program.  Also could be from a  low-cost spay-neuter program.  Usually though, the cut is pretty dramatic so they can see it from a distance.  I couldn't tell through the glass.

She doesn't seem to be feral.  In fact, she looks quite friendly.  Just eyeballing the big boy there....   She's got beautiful markings.  He's no slouch, either.

I had no idea this was a marking for cats who were TNRd,  until a second female cat, the Mom to the one pictured,  returned with the same ear clipped.

My Edward, a stray was so vicious when he got me that when I had him neutered I had them tip his ear too so if someone hated him around the hood they might think he belonged to a colony and leave him alone.  He is such a baby now I wished I hadn't.  But he's been safe for 2 years now and my baby boy loves him, they are total buds.  Most idiots that hate cats wouldn't know a thing about the tipping but I wanted to rule out the one idiot who might.

Mr. Rogers as I call him, my neighbor's cat 3 doors down, mmm me like that for a band name,  adopted me.  I went door to door and found his owner but I just don't think they payed much attention to him.  He stays over here every damn day for breakfast and dinner and bathtub water spout drinking. And much love.

He and Edward, mostly Edward hates his guts and they get into nasty fights.  I try to make them friends but I think one problem is the spray he puts around my house, little fucker.  I shudder when I see it and cleaning it is like cleaning glue, no it's worse!!!  These are the places I can only see.  But, I love him so that's the way that is.  He's even included in the Revolution dosing

He's got the same kinda stripes as Agent Window Kitteh... cute lil pudge going on too!  Nice leg HAAA...  dunno how you can put up with the spraying tho that shit is NASTY...

I'm proud to announce Agent Window Kitteh has been in and out of my windowsill all night tonight. 

No car available had me and my girl taking the bus and as we walked up to the front door of my apartment who comes running up to us whining?  Secret Agent Window Kitteh.  So she has been eating the food and drinking the water.  If she has owners then she's an outdoor cat OR she is homeless.  I put a little box out there for her with an old towel in it for her to get out of the cold.  She seems to be coming from back under the bush there to the left in the vids.  I shot a couple more vids tonight but haven't had the time yet to throw them up.  You can clearly see the ear is cut smooth so... I think she's safe to come in.  The cats here are still curious but seemed a bit more tolerant of her coming inside on the windowsill.  Gonna let things carry on like this for a bit but... ah shit man I may just take her in.

Sounds like she has adopted a good home  Ziznak! I'm Glad she came back.
My indoor cat adopted me 12 years ago. She is the best cat I have ever had!
She came into my life when I needed her the most. It's funny how some events seemingly happen spontaneously.
It really makes me wonder if such things are predetermined.
You never know, maybe she will lead you out of a burning building one day.

Sorry to bump this thread but my inner cat lady couldn't help but update it.  Agent Window Kitteh now lives with my good friend Estelle 2 floors upstairs.  She IS a lost house cat and is trained apparently.    Estelle has no other cats and lives alone there.  She's always wanted a kitty so last week I introduced the two and eventually she decided to take her in.  Really glad things worked out here.  I knew the Window Kitteh wasn't just some stray.

I was just upstairs with window kitteh.  No name yet lol... and estelle refers to kitteh as a he.  They have already bonded.  Window kitteh snuggles with her new owner and just 5 mins ago when I was petting her she couldnt get enough.  "she loves the love."  Def a very loved kitty to some other owners.  Still she's a lil skitzy but settling in. She gained some weight.  She's also still very vocal and will look you right in the eyes and whine at you.  Cat's don't talk to people like that unless theyve lived with people and have developed that cute lil version of kitty speak.

as for my kitties there was 3 assassination attempts by mr alpha male last night while i was trying to sleep.  2 attacks on the youngest and one highway pursuit with his wife... kitty cat domestic violence.

Good to hear! Kitty talk is absolutely a learned behavior.  The 2 strays in my backyard were never vocal until they learned how a well placed meyoo meow motivates the human to get with the food and milk.

thanks for the update. She looks healthy and happy.  I love tabby cats. My last 2 indoor cats were tabbies. They look like little tigers.

The white spot on her front right toe looks like "moose knuckle".
I need to stop hanging out with Jazmunda. He's such a bad influence.
