Art Bell Quits Dark Matter

This wolf-starfire-witch chick is annoying.  Her voice and her banter remind me of one of my sisters, annoying.  These shows need to be made with certain standards, such as every so many minutes say "you are listening to xxxx show from xxxx place".  And she is very unprofessional.  She claims she'll have all these great guests, but she's not worthy of them, she's a poor amateur.  She didn't even turn off her facebook notifications and I kept checking my own facebook because of the sounds.  What an annoying dork.  She does this shrill thing with her voice, and repeats herself way too much, and plays the music way too long.  A real amateur. 

She does this awful thing with her voice, this high pitched thing, like one of my sisters (who I love dearly, but who also does crazy talk).  And her Northern accent is too strong, and I'm FROM the North East.

To me, she sounded manic.  She was going through words a mile a minute with some word salad and some delusions of grandeur thrown in. In one sentence, I heard her try to connect just about every conspiracy theory out there. I stopped listening shortly after that. She said her upcoming guests would include Michio Kaku and others in that caliber.  I fail to see how she'll pull that off, but we shall see.

I really should because the verbal mistakes embarass me but its all of the top of my head, with or without a rat on top of it. I think about what I want to say and just wing it.

My predictions were helped by another Bellgabber because I couldn't think of any at the time and wanted to start my own " predictions " to show how I really hate the frauds we hear on programs.

I did make up the one about Jazmunda and will eventually make ones up about prominent Bellgabbers as well as podcasters in the furture.

Eventually as I have time to write them down, I will make my own " predictions " but I do intend to have Pittsburghdamus (tm) Predicts and other characters in the future as I get more costumery and the like.

Later today, I'll send it to Hogue. I know he'll be soooo thrilled.

Maybe Art is doing this to show how little talent there is out there.  I did radio tests years ago and was told I should be on radio, but frankly, I didn't because I don't think I deserve to be on, even if I'm brighter than people like this dingbat and have a voice for it.  What the hell is this thing with the witchy name, starfire moonbat...

Maybe I SHOULD consider doing radio. 

Anyways, she deserves a half hour maybe, but this "everbody should do such and such" and "and, you know..." and other annoying things.  I couldn't marry a woman with a voice like this!

ehhhh I'd like to check the show out again when they get the sound "fixed."  I actually found a lot of that show kind of funny.  Awkward pauses here and there with the occasional senile guest tangent.  I thought they were skype chat notifications but was that fartbook?  I really thought the host was a teenage boy until my girl told me that was a female talking.

My Cat just now jumped off of the TV tray, kicking it backward.  Stuff started to fly, but I caught the tray and everything on it except a spray bottle.  This kind of stuff happens sometimes when I'm not paying proper attention to her lol.

I'm not bashing... I think there's a good mix of shows on the network.  My guess is they will see how the reception on each is and then decide if they wanna keep them?  I thought these were like pilot episodes? "Making it" on as a full time feature on DMR is a different story all together... right?

Good question.  Many of these shows have been around for years (Howard Hughes, for example), and some left other networks in order to join Art's.  I wonder if they have any plans to monetize the stream, or are they just going to let it roll for the next couple of years?  I wonder if it wasn't just thrown together as a consolation prize for the disappointed fans (not that it's a bad thing, really).

Kewl:)  Thinking of maybe distributing some of them on Itunes/spotify etc, not as expensive as i thought 9 usd for single tracks and 50 usd for album length and then get placed on all major platforms like itunes and spotify and others i hadnt even heard about:) Doubt theres any money in it but at least its out there for real then etc and its not much of an investment for that price anyways so cant hurt:)

I like to think I am generally a kind hearted soul that doesn't readily bash anyone.  But the starfire doggy girl is just annoying, she might want to keep her day job.  We all can't do just anything we want to do for a living.  She does this thing with her voice, it's horrible.  I listend to the entire show, it's just bad, and no amount of sound improvement will change the annoying inflection in her voice and her choice of words which are bad.  She's just not professional.  And this whole dog star fire naming thing is just hokum, she must sell beads for a living or soap or something.  She thinks she's slick, that is evident, but she's not, she's more comical in my opinion.  I give her credit for trying, but her presumptuousness (dropping names of would be guests like she's a goddess and talking judgementally about the media) when she's a nobody yet, and the tone that she's gonna set us all straight is just obnoxious.  I daresay I know more about the truth in my pinky than she does in her entire little head, and I'm just a, yes, you guessed it, just a stupid LASER jocky (for real)...
