Ask him about the secret messages in his hair?

..and the photos of the small scale model apartment blocks on Mars. Approximately 1mm to 2m scale model.. Can he explain the sneaker too? How can a trainer be used in an atmosphere that hasn't much oxygen, or air pressure, or pretty much anything to let humans have a comfortable life?

Yes! I have a few questions:
Why is Greenland called green when it is covered in ice?
Ooh,ooh, pick me, pick me.  I know this one.  When Greenland was discovered, the "Trade Industry" wanted to populate it with new settlers.  Knowing the new settlers wouldn't buy parcels of land covered in ice hence no profits,  "they" decided to name it Greenland knowing the name would sell itself (this is one of the few things I remember from my high school history class so many, many, many . . . yawn . . . many, many years ago).

Thank you.
I will make one last comment about YP.

He's so mean spirited he's the kind of guy who would have cheered when the Titanic sank.

As for my posting personal information, I had assumed that we're all friends here.
Obviously I was deeply mistaken and misinformed as well.
I will minimize that as much as I can but I suspect the haters will continue to spew their venom irregardless of whom is their target.

Implying someone revels in tragedy for criticizing you on a forum is pretty low.

It was just a factual observation.  Yes, the best course of action is to just ignore.

I'm not upset.  I find it slightly amusing that they are so meanandnasty when they proclaim to be a friendly forum.  Oh, the irony!

Carry on. .

That's the American birth right.  I love and respect everyone, as long as they agree with me.  My enemy's enemy and all that.

I'm interviewing Richard Hoagland in a few minutes, so if anyone has any questions for him, you can post 'em in this thread: http://bellgab.com/index.php?topic=5028.210

Ask him where he buys his hair, please.  I'm assuming it comes from the same place as his bolo ties.

Why is Greenland called green when it is covered in ice?

It was the early Scandinavian settlers who gave the country the name Greenland. In the Icelandic sagas, it is said that the Norwegian-born Icelander Erik the Red was exiled from Iceland for murder. Along with his extended family and his thralls, he set out in ships to explore icy land known to lie to the northwest. After finding a habitable area and settling there, he named it GrĂ…"nland (translated as "Greenland"), supposedly in the hope that the pleasant name would attract settlers.

The name of the country in Greenlandic (Kalaallisut) is Kalaallit Nunaat ("land of the Kalaallit"). The Kalaallit are the indigenous Greenlandic Inuit people who inhabit the country's western region.

Well, I was close . . . kinda.

guildnavigator.  Your learned answers to Tarmac's questions are very informative . . . and boring . . . just like history class.  Hum, maybe that's why I didn't remember all of those minute details about Greenland.  Ah-well.  Live and learn. ;D

Cool if someone did create that forum. I post there for sure!

MV said you had a lexus.

Why would he lie?

I have an LS 430, if it makes you feel any better.

Sorry if redundant (it's been a shopping weekend) but.....anybody know why it's Sanger Paranormal instead of Tobias on DM live?
This actually is the first time I've tried to listen to the stream. Went to the trouble of Downloading yet another player and it's this mediocre yakking.

The Malliard Report.

SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSucks.  Sorry for being so judgmental.

The jury's still out on Malliard, for me.  I'm leaning toward agreeing with your conclusion.  There's just something about that dude.....

His intro song is terrible (Decembrists rip off!  Yay!)

He spends an inordinate amount of his show talking about his show.

He has this odd combination of arrogance and insecurity.

And his delivery is pretty rough.

sherry440

Well now that I turned it off, I can't find it again. Talk about a poor app! Livestream makes Sirius seem positively stellar by comparison. Not to mention LS doesn't work on iPad, so I had to go dig out my phone.

sherry440

What happened to listen HERE or HERE right on the website.

Best you can hope for is an interesting topic and a competent interviewer.

Tobias is wonderful. Have you heard him talk about Savannah?  Very good. I was hoping to hear him again.

Yep....that is always the hope everlasting. So far...jim Harold as an interviewer, but he doesn't get the guests. Mysterious Universe might be my new favorite.

I'll check him out.  Howard Hughes is good, too.

Yeah, I wasn't impressed. It made me wonder what kind of vetting is being done for DMN.

I don't think any.  It was kinda funny because at least one or two of these guys has essentially said that by being on the dark matter network that Art himself has endorsed their shows and recognized them as good shows, but I think that all Keith is doing is ensuring they've got a weekly product he can put on.  Keith has said Art isn't really involved in it at all.

It shows.  Let's hope there's a probation period.  I think some of the worst shows have reached the peak of their learning curve.

Bryan Alvarez of "After Dark" started a thread and is asking for feedback about his podcast.
http://bellgab.com/index.php?topic=5355.0

His podcast ran on ArtBell.com (DMRN) late last Friday night.
It was late and I had to sleep, so I only heard a few minutes.

Guys, I've got a dumb question, but how, in this forum, do you zoom into replies to your posts?  I don't come here frequently enough to follow and I don't have the energy and time to reach every post since my previous comments here.  I click on unread replies and it just indicates that there are some, but it doesn't take me to them.

Under heading: beating a dead horse

Futile to bring this up, but I stumbled on Dr. Laura on Sirius over the weekend (I know, I know) but  as I listened awhile, I realized she has callers one right after another so how is it Art said he couldn't get callers up to his standards?
I mean.....if it works for her call in show, it should work for Art, right?  We've had Sirius in the car, and also on my iPad for some years and wil continue. But this really jumped out at me.....she has a live callin show?! Wtf?!

Isn't her show broadcast on regular radio and comes from a non XM studio?  You seem quick to judge Art in your posts.  You and I weren't there, no one knows the real deal.

She has been around a while and had an audience before Sirius. I think Art expected the same as he had in 1996, but gave up too soon before the show had time to develop.

Also, I was just at the Dark Matter website and noticed that the link that goes to the streaming site has a new heading: "Keith Rowland's Dark Matter Radio

It seems that Keith is flying solo on organizing the network.

I would've preferred that Art Bell be involved, but it seems he being hands off on this venture.

Danger!UFO

No need to provoke Sirius. Best for Art to lay low for now. It could be a possible legal issue if Art is involved.
