None that I've received..

Hey Paul, hope all is well. As you can see we are still waiting on a miracle.

So @SiriusXMIndie tweeted this yesterday evening:

Good?  Bad?  Insignificant?  I don't know.

Doesnt mean a thing.

Usagi

I received the same "It was Art's decision" line, so I sent an email complaining that I received a canned response and requested an individualized direct response to my email... what did I get?

"Thank you for contacting SiriusXM regarding Art Bell’s Dark Matter. We are sorry for the inconvenience this causes you.

We continually rely on customer feedback like yours and research to enhance your entertainment experience. As we strive to create the most diverse listening experience available, we find that the feedback we receive is crucial to our success. We are forwarding your comments to the appropriate department.

We appreciate your patience and understanding regarding this matter."

Just a DIFFERENT canned response.  Well... I *did* tell them that I expected just another cut and paste, so they can't say that they aren't living up to customer expectations!

Oh yeah. Looks like it is a done deal boys, girls, and looneys.

What is the change he's referring to? I see nothing new.

Art screwed the pooch. It is that simple. He did it rashly and in the wrong venue. He reports frustration for some time... although 6 weeks seems not all that long. What he didn't do was fullfill his contractual agreement. In the long run that is more damaging to his fans than what Willnodoubt posits.

Using the phrase Art the Quitter is childish, agreed. But to dismiss the frustration behind that is myopic.

Make no mistake this turd fell directly onto the heels of its creator.

I am upset his show is over also, but I was willing to give Art every chance to make it right over time. I believe over time it would have worked well for all of us. We will never know now.
Onan, Yes I should have said something different then "Art the Quitter" but Art has a history of quitting. Yes Art should have stay on the air longer and worked with xm to fix the problem. Art's "my way or the highway" view on running a new show with a new company is wrong. Yes, I am mad that Art just quit again. Each time Art quits is like giving us the middle finger and I'm tried of it.

Well, it does mean that the person who posts the Twitter posts has not been told to stop advertising Art's show.  I think this is relatively hopeful sign, actually.  If they'd decided to pull the plug, i.e., "said no,"... I think they wouldn't bother to be promoting Dark Matter any more.

Has absolutely nothing to do with being in England. I just like to try to use words properly and to educate people in the usage of same.
However, one poster was correct.

What is the plural of crazy?

What's the plural form of crazy? Here's the word you're looking for.
Answer
The plural form of crazy is crazies.

I've already pointed out the plural of crazy. Widespread1 isn't as interested in proper grammar and spelling as much as they are pretending they're above everyone else in this forum.

It cold be automated for all we know. Not to mention people are getting a blanket email. We just don't know, but if they were going to go through with it...well I'd like to think it wouldn't be this grim.

This has been a thing since yesterday. Not new, and just a test.

First rule of the test stream is you do not talk about the test stream.

The SECOND rule about the test stream is you do not talk about the test stream....

Oh and you never cross the streams, it would be bad.

Nah, he'll be back. He didn't test his stream thing out just as a ruse. And, plus, I think Sirius's bottom line is the bottom line, and they know, financially, they're better off to agree to art's requests.

I think as long as it doesn't COST Sirius anything, to let Art live free stream on his own website, that they very well might agree.  Because keeping Art will mean keeping SOME of the new subscribers:  the ones who signed up to listen to Art, and really enjoy the On Demand feature or have come to like some of their other stations, or dig being able to listen to him in the car (although I would never pay for that particular feature, although I'm sure it's nice:  I do like to listen to talk radio in the car).

It could just mean Sirius XM has poor internal communication. I worked at a corporation that had offices all over the world. To sum it up, the right hand didn't always know what the left hand was doing.

Phil was doing the Art Bell scene about an hour intontge show. Then he talks at length with the other characters about Sirius and other artists complaints. He pokes fun at Art for leaving so fast and why.

I don't know if this will be funny to listen to, or kind of sad.  Does anyone know if a YouTube audio link of this show will pop up?  I'd be curious to hear it.

And, in a corporation, the right hand doesn't always know what the other right hand is doing.

I made a general statement about how many crazy people visit this forum and you have slung insult after insult at me over it.
I do not pretend to be above anybody. You Do.

I wish i could make cartoons or comics.  I can picture Art with a base ball bat, as he breaks into George's studio. George has pizza rolls stuffed in his mouth. Art walks up with the bat and starts to beat George but just in time George picks up his cook book blocking the bat and begs for forgiveness LOL

DesertFox

Not a good sign:

Sirius On Demand now has all of shows Art did EXPIRING in 3 days.  Before for me they all were in the 100's of days or more.

So if you want to listen to any of them, you better hurry.

Why did "Unlicensed nuclear accelerators" mounted in back packs come to mind as I read your post?

After reading most of 170 pages of mostly pissing on Art I for one am willing to give him the benifit of the doubt and take this test stream as a good sign. As the Comet Flies so will Art.

Maybe that's an "ultimatum" for Art Bell.  SiriusXM is now "all in".

They're winding down, folks. They're winding down.

UGH.

I think it weird that art's last live show on Xm was on 31 Oct 2013 and his last live show on Coast 2 Coast was on 31 Oct 2010.
