Hey Paul!
What is the word thunderbird?

Or maybe you should quit trying to insult our sanity and intelligence when you've already proven you don't have a firm grasp on either yourself. In other words, people in glass house should shut the hell up.

I just received this from Sirius.

That mental image is disturbing.

Sorry, its covered by fans.
However there is adequate room for muliple flamers from BG in our trunk.
I'll even give them air with my bb gun ala Cagney in White Heat.
The pellets will be heated before hand, of course.

Falkie, I give you a lot of slack but stay out of the cerebral conversations.

Whit means a small piece/slice or small ember. Which fits well into talking about an amount of knowledge or insight.

I have told Sirius/XM I can go on the air as soon as tomorrow if they wish. Do not get to excited yet. It is now up to them.
As you can see we are ready to do exactly what we said we would do. We are also prepared to deliver to as many as want
it. So, the ball is now in their court. Keith knows what he is doing. Paul is ready and I am ready. All we need is the go ahead
from Sirius.

                                                                                                                                            Art

The ball is in your court, sir.  You signed a contract with a Satellite Radio company, they offer an internet stream as an add on option.  They built you a studio so you don't have to leave your property.  They provided good satellite coverage.

For some reason, you quit.  Now you are deflecting the responsibility to SXM by changing the issues.  You inspired many to buy radios and subscribe and you alone made the decision to end it.
You have a job, a contract, and the talent to provide an entertaining and interesting show.  Just go back to work and let Sirius work out their stream issues which you seem to obsess over. I never had a single streaming issue, using Android app and also the website through my pc.  I also own a Sirius radio.

You devoted approx 1/4 of each show to callers, hardly a caller driven show.  It's much more guest and host driven.  I respect all of your past accomplishments and enjoy your shows.  Please have the integrity to honor your word and fulfill your contract as agreed upon.

People on here have been emotional.  They do not hate you, just many feel wronged.  You made an emotional post stating "I am done" and alluding to a life that has lost meaning.  Not all criticism is hate, much is disappointment.  Your return to radio was much anticipated by many, including myself.  You made the decision to end it.  You need to own it and not blame internet message boards, truckers on cell phones,  and streaming issues.

With respect, and much hope to hear you on Sirius soon, I hope you realize where this is coming from.  Not all that express an opinion you don't want to hear are trolls.  Come back to work and rage in the night, please.  Give it some time and focus on what you do best.

Wanna take a ride?  Get back in the drivers seat.

I couldn't get the stream to work for Hendrie. It was some political talker. But I can say that I went over to Hendrie's site and he offers a 2 day free trial. Catch it and then unsubscribe tomorrow if the feed doesn't work.

I've found you can stream Phil Hendrie's show free on Tunein.com.  I usually listen to him around midnight, Pacific Time; he comes on right after Ground Zero on KXL out of Portland, OR.  See their programming here:  http://www.kxl.com/shows

I find it disturbing that Art has been removed as a host in the lineup on the Indie page of the Sirius website. He was the first host listed yesterday.

Surely that is deliberate?

We aren't in jolly old England and that wasn't known by poster who thinks crazy's is an acceptable way to make crazy plural. The original intent of their post was to demean the rank and file here because they express a dissenting viewpoint.

Art the Quitter, I have a question for you. If you "do" come back to the air in one form or another, are you going to quit like a little bitch again?

Thank you for you time Art the Quitter. Btw Art Do you see George Noory quitting? No because George is no quitter just YOU are. Yes George may suck but you just let him win again by NOT BEING A PRO.

Why would you be so childish?

DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND HE DID THIS FOR A PURPOSE?   HE'S HOLDING SIRIUS' FEET TO THE AGREEMENT.   HE'S DOING THIS FOR THE LISTENERS.   You should appreciate the stand that Art has taken here.

Stop doing things that might jeopardize his willingness to come back at all .... SERIOUSLY think about what you're doing.  Talking to the one man you're here for in this manner is off the charts ridiculous.

Not just you... many others with your sentiment... you're not alone, so I'm not intending to single you out but your post is the most recent I can see.

Do you see the testing page on ArtBell.com ?    They are testing out different streaming alternatives.

HERE:  http://artbell.com/testing-a-potential-live-streaming-solution/

Art is trying to do what's right here.    A LITTLE COOPERATION and patience might be in order.   Perhaps if you (and others) want to be complaining ---- contact Sirius and tell them to fix their platform immediately or agree to Art's logical request..    Much smaller companies have had a perfectly fine streaming solution in place for nearly a decade --- it's not inconceivable that Sirius could fix their technical glitches.

I mentioned in a previous post that *HOPEFULLY* Art interprets all this childish and emotional behaviour as an expression of how much we wanted him to return to the airwaves and how much this situation is like having the rug being pulled out from underneath you.   He gets that... he wants to come back, but the circumstances have to be right.

My previous post expanding on some of this: http://bellgab.com/index.php?topic=5069.3810  near the bottom..

Has absolutely nothing to do with being in England. I just like to try to use words properly and to educate people in the usage of same.
However, one poster was correct.

What is the plural of crazy?

What's the plural form of crazy? Here's the word you're looking for.

The plural form of crazy is crazies.

Art screwed the pooch. It is that simple. He did it rashly and in the wrong venue. He reports frustration for some time... although 6 weeks seems not all that long. What he didn't do was fullfill his contractual agreement. In the long run that is more damaging to his fans than what Willnodoubt posits.

Using the phrase Art the Quitter is childish, agreed. But to dismiss the frustration behind that is myopic.

Make no mistake this turd fell directly onto the heels of its creator.

I am upset his show is over also, but I was willing to give Art every chance to make it right over time. I believe over time it would have worked well for all of us. We will never know now.

What's the matter? Got a bit of sand in your vagina today? I don't put people on ignore, but consider yourself on my mental ignore list. You are like that annoying blob of spittle in the corner of someone's mouth or that piece of dog poo stuck to the bottom of one's shoe: meant to be scraped off, cast aside, and forgotten.

There are five things that could happen here.

1. Sirius agrees to let Art be a public broadcaster and he's back on tonight or next week.
2. They let him out of his contract and he just streams from the website.
3. They decide to hold him to his non compete and art is off the air for another year or so.
4. Art gives in to Sirius and works with them on a long term solution and let's the show grow over time.
5. Art has no intention of coming back.

I believe Art wants to come back and wants to stream for free. However, the way he went about this has been completely befuddling and dramatic.

And Art, I love yal but this has been so unnecessarily dramatic and over the top it's just stupid.
You could of gone on air and explained things, and asked your listeners to petition and contact management. We could of fought this battle with you, but now things are so muddled it's approaching fubar.

Hope you are back on tonight, can't wait.

Anyone consider from the Art Bell website that "Waiting on SiriusXM" really means Sirus contractually letting go of Art to allow his own streaming option?

I hope not. I really like being able to listen to Art over my Sirius radio and not having to use data/wifi. Both would be best for me.
