However, I don't think he wants to broadcast.

it might really be that simple, frankly.

No wonder obesity is an epidemic.

Anyone able to remote view inside of Sirius HQ to get the scoop?

Oh that's right remote viewing is BS. :P

I see...   I see many many blank faces in suits looking at stacks of papers.  Wringing their hands.

That bothered me from the start.  I was surprised it was Sirius instead of AM, especially with Art's love of "classic" radio.  I didn't know much about Sirius at the time so I did a little on-line research way before he came back.  It didn't take much to learn about the problems Art supposedly walked out over but I thought, what the hey, I want to listen to Art and I'll take take the risk.  I didn't have big problems with Sirius but the ones I had certainly weren't going to make me stop listening to DM.  Too bad the host didn't feel the same way about continuing the show.  :(

Yeah it only took like 15 minutes of searching and reading to see that SiriusXM has some problems over many years, and for Art to show up and expect them to fix it in six weeks... well I just have to shake my head and laugh. I know Art can use Google just like BILLIONS of people do every day so... something is fishy somewhere or half baked at best. Sad really.  :(

Who do you think is arguing louder? Bellgab members or Sirius XM executives?

I haven't been this nervous around the computer since waiting for an Aol Instant Message from Susie Jenkins telling an 18 year old me that I could come over, her parents had finally left.

OMG...did you mention Carnivale? I own the series on dvd. Cancellation was due to high costs of production, sets to keep that authentic feel that made it glorious. Many set designers were in envy of beauty and talent achieved in it.

Beautiful visuals... so sad it ended without finishing the story of the preacher and management and everything...

Howdy.  Post often.  Unless your gay.  BellGab hates gay people.  So I've been told.  Maybe it was just happy people.  Or sane ones.

They couldn't afford to keep up costs for that quality of production design. I took on camera workshops in LA with Diane Salinger, who was Appolonia (the psychic mother).

I'm not so sure that he ever said he felt he was being treated unfairly.  He basically said that the current situation wasn't, in his opinion, making for a good show.  He didn't want to do a bad show (again in his opinion), and thought of this alternative to solve the issue.  But the problem is that there's no meeting of the minds here and so the deal is at risk.

Art is full of shit. If he is to be believed his show sucked because the fans who called in sucked. After only 15 shows he didn't have a million listeners to solicit more entertaining calls from so instead of forging ahead he blames a pay wall and a dumb audience for not granting him instant success! Then we are supposed to believe he sacrificed it all for the benefit of the aforementioned dumb and uninteresting fans? He wanted to give his show away free in hopes of attracting better listeners because we suck! MY HERO!

I'm willing to bet 50% of his past listeners never even knew he had a new show! Not everyone is obsessed with him and his return to radio as I and many of you are/were. If he would have just got on with it who knows? Sep 1 2014 could have seen the highest ratings ever for a Sirius show! How cool would that be? Art dethroning Mr Stern!

The real reason for his departure is sad ratings. 30 days after the show aired he got a good look at how may people tuned in and it was much lower than he expected. Now there has to be a reason for this right? (Enter blame game/Streaming/Pay$Wall/Truckers/Listeners in cars)<- None of that makes sense.
Sad ratings offers little incentive for guests looking to promote their work! Toss in a potential of pissing off the ratings behemoth that is the other show and it becomes a little harder to entice good guests who may or may not be treated so nice by our favorite host. Lets face it Art started the pissing contest and lost. Didn't

I did write the book but it was a joke, too. And no, I don't want anyone doing that to bring art bell back, nor do I think it would be effective.

In the past I've speculated George has made a pact with praeternatural and cthonic deities. This also was a joke. I'm sorry if everyone took it seriously. I think Noory's not in kahootz with anything.
As usual, I'm rushing to catch up here.  I'm still back on page 163 today!  Just ran across your post and wanted to reassure you that anyone with two IQ points to rub together realized that you were being humorous.  You've nothing to apologize for, defend or explain.  It's been fun reading.
