Art Bell Quits Dark Matter

I'll never forget the time Mandela bought the ring anonymously for that veteran. What a guy. I heard his car didn't catch fire right away either, sheeeit. Steve McQueen was a better driver anyways. RIP HB Halicki.

I just heard that Premier radio was bought out by a corporation connected with Mitt Romney

Hopefully their first order of business is to sack some people. Preferably any employees with facial hair.

Did we slip into a wormhole bringing us back to 2008?  :o

Again, from what I understand, Clear Channel owns Premire, who just bought SeriusXM....
I'm sorry, I'm from Berkeley, but I see something ominous...maybe that is why Art had so many problems.....
I fear that free speech is dead....(not that it ever was).....

They weren't purchased by Clear Channel, Premiere, Enron or even Blockbuster  - no idea what you're talking about. Liberty Media (completely separate, so try to stay with me) hold a large amount of stock in Sirius/XM, as they do with many other media and telecommunication companies. Try reading some business articles before spreading misinformation.

I remember that time he authorized the bombing of the SANDF Air Force headquarters in Pretoria right when people were out with their kids.

Dead commie is a good commie.

Thanks for sticking around to watch ZA take a few laps around the swirling toilet Madiba.

yes- comedicly in the movie Dinner with Schmucks they show a picture of him and Steve Carrol's character makes reference to "look he's friends with nelson mandela" or something to those ends, additionally, it's probably been in other movies as a referenced joke.

Morgan Freeman played Mandela in a movie about the South African rugby team/reunification.

Eddie Murphy also played Will Smith in "The Man from Snowy River".

I'd love to find the old SNL clips of Eddy Murphy as Gumby in "Merry Christmas Dammit!"  Seems appropriate this year. ;)

Did you hear Will Smith ran a Scientology school? And the movie --- After Earth --- was filled with Scientology propaganda?

I was pissed when I found this out. God damnit, Will!

I knew something was amiss.  It is kinda funny, though.

the Duke you the man.

Don't you agree Will Smith is losing his mind, retired41?

The cinematography in After Earth, albeit bland, was nice enough but that was the only redeeming feature of the entire film. Will Smith's son --- Willbo Smith, I think --- has as much personality as a pile of cat shit, and has no business being in any movie. Then he has the fucking audacity to say in an interview that we should invent a new form of mathematics? Fuck that shit. Mathematics is fine, Willbo. You suck. And your dad is turning into the Gaddafi of Hollywood. The fact that he appointed his dipshit, can't-act son as co-star verifies this is a fact.

And the remarkably insane thing is that Will Smith acts just like his son in that film. They both act like they just drank a glass of strong, saline laxative and are trying desperately not to shit themselves. Even the CGI beastie looked bored with them.

Just thought I'd let everyone know. After literally days of dealing with State Farm and the car dealer, SF is going to pay off the remaining $ 452 we owe on the car and give us the rest as $3738 which means we get paid back every dime we paid for the car and won't have to make the final payment. We're going to start saving up for a newer Prius so the problem the 2001/2002 Priuses had with battery replacement won't happen. The newer ones have upgraded technology and practically last for 10 years or more. Going to try to get a 2006 or 2007 with the rear camera on it and the steering wheel controls since its safer to control the a/c and radio that way than to lean over and be distracted. It's going to take us awhile but it will be nice to get a car with less mileage on it and this time I'm NOT going to have a high deductible on it. We'll have the check next week.
And my glasses will finally be here next week as well and I can afford to buy MV a new box fan for Christmas.
;D ;)

Entirely common in Hollywood or any other industry.  Don't forget Patrick Wayne!

Ethan and Patrick were in some of the Wayne films. They had some skills. I just hated Patrick Wayne's holding up the release of certain pictures his Father did for years after Wayne passed on.
To show you how popular Wayne was, in the city of SF only 3 newspaper editions sold out in recent years up til 1980.
Skylab's falling to Earth, Elvis dying and on the day he died John Wayne's death.
You couldn't find a copy of the paper with the vendors or machines anywhere in the city on those 3 days.
Even years after his death Wayne is still one of the top 10 favorite actors of all time.
My girlfriend can't understand why I ( and by inference other men too ) like the Duke so much.
Neither can many other women.
My coffee cup has a picture of Wayne on it.

If you can pick out the frames, I'd go with the heavy, black Hipster-type that all the rage these days. You could get a tribal tattoo, and start wearing a Che Guevara t-shirt, or the Ninja Turtles. Then you can then switch from drinking hard-alcohol Egg-Nog to Pabst Blue Ribbon and start smoking clove cigarettes, and refuse all GMO gluten from your diet.

Tert.  Did you post this with tongue firmly planted in cheek? I can't tell whether you are serious or just being facetious.

I have the movie remake of "Karate Kid" with Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith (Will's son). It's an excellent movie and, in some ways, better than the original which I also enjoy.

So, you're just kidding, right?
