Putting Coast to Coast in Art's old time slot is objectively a smart move by Sirius. Art left them in a lurch by leaving the show and they are filling the audience's need for this kind of programming.

Now we know why Sirius never got back to Art. Art fucked Sirius over by leaving and they are fucking him back by putting George in his old slot. They no longer need Art.

I think if Art hadn't left his show and George wanted to be put on 104, Art could have stopped it.

Here you go folks. This is WHAT happened. As many of you know, we were on XM for years . The end of OCT that channel went away. We knew this was coming for months prior. WE began negotiations to get Sirius/XM to BUY the rights to air my show. When Art went on Sirius those negotiations continued. We didn't know what channel we'd be on, but I wanted to flow after Art's Dark Matter .It would have been a strong channel. He up and RESIGNED. We then got the offer we were waiting for and had two options for channels 104 and a truckers channel. We selected 104.
We are NOT in Art's original 7pm-10pm PT slot. we start at 10PM PT. He RESIGNED. We never expected that...and frankly he made a mistake , I believe.
Don't blame us for getting BACK on a satellite network we were ON in the past.

When did the crown come?  If it was before Art left, it seems that it would show prior knowledge to his leaving?  That's all that's puzzling me.

I wonder if maybe they'd gotten some numbers back and Art's numbers hadn't blown Noory out of the water (as they'd undoubtedly feared), and he was getting higher returns than Art.  Hence, he still reigned? 

Also, not sure if 1) Noory would have been in on all the inside machinations to know the status every step of the way, 2)even if he had been, don't think he'd be so obvious to wear that crown before all the stuff shook out,  or 3) or clever enough to lay down that blatant hint.

Sirius scared me off 3 years ago. Signed up for trial (but gave my cred card and woe do not do that lightly!) as heard Dylan had a show and I missed Stern from Old NY days and thought I would give them a whirl- good thing Amex backed me up and got me back 4 over billed months!
- took my card three years ago and could not cancel my radio contract until spent hour or more on phone- zero web cancellation options.

So it was with only highest admiration that I risked my card again ( or did they not take card for trial? Hmm") I only got this trial as Art was back and he has it intellectually all over the affable but
sometimes slow Mr. Noory (he is not a bad guy but hardly Art and decidedly right leaning Drudge report liker) - why would anyone who is not on Sirius and an insider pay double
when Coast insider is $54 a year especially with no Art, Pretty easy to record on wifi radio too.
