This is sounding like interracial porn.
I say don't change the name, but if you do....at least keep that intro! Best. I love the radio "making connection" deal. Also, liked the recent show. It might be my bad earbuds (cause I did catch some branches on them mowing the lawn and burning brush earlier) but this recent show is sounding like a Beatles experimental album with the new found stereo. In the beginning got audio in only one ear. Then underwear commercial went in other ear. And then some switching between. Likely wires in my earphones stresses or busted but, then again, maybe getting creative on the sound mixing arena??

Oh the intro is definitely staying. I'll just have Ross re-record a word or 2.  8)

And yeah, my imaging guy got creative with the L/R static in there.

Had a technical issue today, unfortunately. I've bounced around between a couple different studios here - and this one happened to have a phone line that apparently wasn't hooked up to the mic, so the guest couldn't hear me.  ::)

Next week I'll have access to the studio I like, and I'll try to bang out a couple new ones.

I feel like an asshole not being able to put one out tonight, believe me, it's just as frustrating for me.

Dang it. We will wait but only for so long. More Dark Matter. And if you could somehow get Col.Aquino as a guest with the way you actually question and converse! Radio history.

b_dubb

Bateman if you really do feel like an asshole Taintco is looking for new advertisers. And test subjects.

How is the in home studio progressing? Or is it like Noory's imaginative Hawaiian studio?

:)

That guy really freaks me out, but I would consider it.

Still getting set up at the new place - if the studio situation at the radio station continues to be a pain in the ass, I will definitely just record from home going forward. I have about half the equipment I need now.

Today I had the day off from work and decided to catch up with Dark Weekend. I've been listening to previous shows for the past 7+ hours. A bateman "marathon," if you will.
I was kind of disappointed that I couldn't get the second hour of Dr. David Jacobs interview. Could you point me to where I can find the whole show?

Great to know that you're moving forward with the home studio plan. And good luck with the move -- I know what a pain that can be.

Hey Spinner. Good to see ya!

Thanks Wildcard and Catsmile for the warm "welcome back" :)

Just finished listening to the DeLorean show (my 4th time...?), and now starting the art theft show. Been "bateing" for 8.5+ hours straight now (yeah, with lots of water AND ice cream). Maybe I'll fall asleep while listening to the Atlantis show.  It's been a good day. :)

Bateman: I NEED the last half of the David Jacobs show. Pleeeeeeeeeez...

No idea how those numbers compare to the rest of the network, but it's nice to see them growing rather than dropping off, haha

Awesome! I can hardly wait!

I've listened to the latest show at least three times and you know what I really need to know more about? How to paint my house so no one can see it in pictures  :o

jazmunda

Steve Warner's Dark Wormhole.

Are you still accepting name requests?

cweb

Another great show! I'd be interested in reading the Serpo book that was mentioned- but only on the same terms as Greg. If it's a government cover-up, I'm in. If it's "aliens visited us from this far-off star system," I'm out.

Think I have the C2C ep where it is discussed, somewhere. Great overall story, poor evidence.

I have a feeling that whatever the name of the show is, in the future we'll be calling it "the Steve Warner show." Just as we did with C2C, better known around the world as "the Art Bell show."

I agree.  Always nice to catch a bright young star on their way up.
We love his shows. He is prepared, articulate and very interesting to listen to.

RE: Greg bishop

Downright personable but what he calls research the rest of the world calls hearsay. Whenever you probed his research he simply quoted something he heard or read. I mean, all we are really left with is his impression of other people's work.

Steve, let me know if I'm out of line; if so I apologize.

You're not wrong. No paper trail that I'm aware of, just witnesses who were able to corroborate each others' stories to some extent. Add John Lear to the mix, and the story gets even murkier.
