Why would you not want to read what people are saying about you or your posts?

Some have the zing, which gets the nips hard and makes you feel alive.
Others are just mind-numbingly dull and offer no entertainment value at all.

Ok, so everyone is waiting to go to Pizza Hut for the buffet lunch. Your cousin with Downs insists on tying his own shoes. Sure, you get a chuckle the first few times he manages to tie both shoes together. 10 minutes later you realize the entertainment is gone and you just want to have a slice. There he goes again, both shoes tied together. His mother is showing so much patience, good for her. Oh, look, he now isn't even trying to tie them, he is sucking on the tip of one lace. Focus your little mongoloid, woman and let's get this party started. HEY NOW! He got one of them tied... do you think he can apply the same technique to shoe 2? Nope, back to lace sucking. Come on kid, focus and get us out the door. SUCCESS! Shoes are now tied, stand up kid and we are outta here... HOLY SHIT HE PISSED HIS PANTS! Shoes back off and the dream of the Pizza Hut buffet is dead.

I have, by marriage, a wonderful nephew who suffers or has been blessed by Down's syndrome. When I say blessed allow me to explain.
A very similar occurrence happened shortly after our marriage, Alex was tying his own shoes (a very important task to him) and as described in your post it occurred pretty much as described, however one difference.......he "shit his pants" (as you would put it).
And you know what ?
The servants all had the evening off as we were planning on going to "Cafe de Tacuba" in Mexico City ( yes, we even decided to ditch our reservations..along with after dinner plans.
We instead ALL decided to stay home and prepare our own dinner, with Alex insisting on helping, and had one of the most memorable evenings I can recall....
A difference...between myself, my extended family and "others"...

You are quite correct, as stated previously I after a lifetime of political correctness found after his initial comments directed toward me I suddenly found a new enjoyment of giving it back 10 or 100 fold. I apologize as now realizing the symbol perhaps suffers from a true phycological or neuro based illness or disease. I am now promising, in a humanitarian way, to no longer engage this person.
I hope my apology is accepted by those adversely affected.
