Wait, didn't the breathy chick call in last night too?

You got something against breathy chicks? lol
That was me.  But I didn't call in last night.

I've listened to Art for years, always bummed that I was too afraid to call in.
I did it.  Colbert: release the balloons.

I think this show proves that Art won't call BS on guests no matter how fantastical the story is.

Don't get me wrong I love a great tale. I love fiction especially science fiction. If you're going to tell a tale then tell a big one. And this certainly is a tall tale.

I guess Art is going down the entertainment route and that's fine with me.

With Art at the helm I always enjoy the ride.
Art has always been a diplomat with his guests - 95 percent of the time.  Personally, I love his subtle communication style. He assumes everyone is intelligent enough to decide for themselves.

I can just imagine all the Indie 104 hosts/shows that got bumped to make room for Art tuning in to see what the big deal was and then slack-jawed thinking WTF? I got bumped for this?

Uhmm no because none of those hack shows come close to being as good as Art or bring in the type of numbers and fan base Art does.

So yeah, no. I usually enjoy your posts but that was just dumb.

He's making it so obvious. This is what every hoaxer does after his 15 minutes are up. Add to the story. Make it new agey. Hes pulling a Strieber. I can see right through this guy. I really should of gotten into the alien hoax thing. I would of blew minds and made a killing.

You have a great speaking voice and did a great job. I totally want to hear the rest of your UFO story some day!

Art is certainly great entertainment, but he also knows that there are real mysteries out there.  Stay tuned.  There will be many serious shows.  He has seen at least two ufos himself, and he takes them seriously.  I'm not sure about the Reed person.  The show has, for some reason, been  hysterically funny to me tonight.   I have laughed so hard tonight, it's been almost like a spiritual experience.  I can believe that he visited two popes.

i think you hit a bulls-eye with this comment however i am still undecided if Strieber did ever originally have experiences, Reed is just Hoax to Hoax.

Well, he'll have done essentially a full four hour show with Reed.

This is the closest you'll ever come to psychedelics, folks, without actually ingesting a psychoactive substance. Reed is a loon.

You obviously have never done shrooms.

1. It's way better than listening to some dudes story.

2. It's visual and profound.

A guy who will claim to have spent 4 nights in the Vatican and had the Pope tell him he's the messenger for us all, couldn't have much fear of talking to callers.  I almost can't believe Reed would go that far.  Surprise!

Bingo! Art's questions may seem diplomatic at first, but they're actually quite pointed. He very delicately peels away the layers of bullshit. We're good at picking up on the discrepancies in the story only because Art is actually doing his job.

Or perhaps he has witnessed the cruelty, pain, and suffering which is life and that perhaps he may reach an audience and convince them to be good people. Maybe he is offering simple things to make all of us think about not why we are here, but what we can do with our time and make the best of it. Not all of us care about all people and could certainly use some direction. Could be a "loon", but maybe he has a point  ;)
