This story is big news Down Under. I bet it doesn't make the news in the States. 3 teens aged 15, 16, & 17 have been charged with his murder.

Chris Lane was from my home city and was randomly gunned down in Oaklahoma.

This stuff happens all the time.  It's only news if the victims are black and the perps are white.  Which is so extremely rare that it's national news for months if not years (see Trayvon, Oscar, et al)

These stories typically include several common themes:

No description of the perps at first.

Denial that they have gang ties.

We hear that it couldn't have been the person or persons arrested because they are 'good boys'.  There will be any number of people lining up to tell us that.

Any previous violence and crime they've been involved with will be hidden.

There will be calls for more gun control and blame cast upon the NRA.

Down the road there will be calls for a 'National Conversation On Race'

The case will be forgotten




If and when we ever get to that National Conversation On Race, it'll be pretty one sided and the ghetto rats and their supporters aren't going to like it very much.

          When the perps aren't identified, you can be fairly certainly who did it. And of course, that's the case here. Luna, Edwards and James will all get NAACP support. "They're just bay-bays"

Usually, when I hear about cases like this I wonder what would make someone do this.  Not anymore.  I don't care what sob story any one of them weaves.  Anything bad that happens to these three will NOT be enough. 
They were bored, and now they're laughing about it??

This is beyond disgusting. I'm very familiar with Duncan, OK, as we lived just miles from there, and I would never expect something like this to happen there.  Oklahoma is pretty no nonsense when it comes to crime and punishment, so hopefully they will get what's coming to them.

Yep, in the US with its grossly biased news media, you have to learn how to interpret reports.

Rule 1: in a report of a violent crime, when no race of the suspect/criminal is mentioned, it is a certainty that s/he is black, and a good bet the victim is white.

Rule 2: in news reports about political crimes or crimes involving political figures, when no political party affiliation of the suspect/defendant is mentioned, or is hidden at the very bottom of the article, it means the suspect/defendant is a Democrat.

Rule 3: when newspaper reports which are harmful or embarrassing to one political party or another, and news accounts of them are relegated to "Page 6", or otherwise not placed on the front page, it means the party embarrassed or harmed is the Democrat Party.

Rule 3a: when a news report is harmful or embarrassing to one political party or another, and it is run on Friday evening/Saturday, it means the party being embarrassed/harmed is the Democrat Party.

In this particular case, the teenagers charged with the murder are reported as having confessed that the cause of the murder was boredom. Of course. Now, why the boredom of the murderers did not overcome them until a white victim made himself available to them, and why they passed up several blacks as victims until Lane appeared is one of those imponderable mysteries of the universe which law enforcement will never ever never know the answer to. But whatever the unknowable reason they chose Lane was, authorities do know for certain that he was white positively had nothing to do with it, no sir, no how, no way, unh unh, nothing to see here, move along quietly.

And in keeping with the template of race-based crime in post-modern America as set out by Tom Wolfe in The Bonfire Of The Vanities, the alleged murderers are being obligatorily described as "good boys" who were totally defenseless to avoid this murder because of the existence and strange magical power of firearms; the irresistible power of which is allegedly much like that of the three magic beans or a princess's kiss of a frog. Yes, guns made them do it. Tom Wolfe's Post-Modern Race Crime Model predicts that reports of the murder suspects being "honor students" and "church-going kids" will soon follow. The fact that one murder suspect is named "Chauncey" makes this a virtual certainty.

People not happy with some of the coward media that ISN'T posting it. Seems the left wing media doesn't like anti-black crimes and the right wing media doesn't like anti-white crimes.

Was the crime racialy motivated? I'd say more likely than not, but no solid proof yet. Just hear say, and the thug's facebook archives.

Here's a similar story, but no gun involved.  This time it was an elderly man who was apparently beaten to death.  The first incarnation of the story I read this morning had no description of the suspects.  They have now released that they are two black teens.

I saw a short clip on "AC 360" last week. It showed the killer's comment that said that 90% of White people are nasty and that he hates them. They came back to Cooper, and he stumbled and stuttered before he asked what the motive could have been. That said it all.
