Zenof

If you are not the guy who called in during the calls with Howe then ignore this, I am trying to contact Chris, Open lines are not open yet so I will attempt to contact you via radio as well... Chris PM me

Zenof

The screener is being a douche. Help me get this on the air "Chris go to coastgab.com and look for your name in general discussion"

Eddie Coyle

This reminds me of when I threw rocks at windows at an apartment complex(Sept 20,1991)  hoping the girl I was looking for would come to a window(wasn't sure which window was hers, hence the rocks)

I was forced to leave after I spiderwebbed one of the 3rd floor windows and I think the cops were called. Maybe I should have tried the buzzer/intercom.

               Carry on.

i highly doubt a c2c screener would want to direct listeners to go to coastgab on the air, since they know that the other name (url alias) for coastgab is: georgenoorysucks.com  ;D

maybe you could try posting at the c2c facebook page?

Morgus

The guy just got on the air live with c2c guest host John B. Wells and mentioned this Chris caller and coastgab.com
Does that win him a prize for getting this board's url mentioned on the air? :D

Zenof

got on the air, said my thing and directed Chris to coastgab. here is for hoping

No, this potentially gives this guy named Chris, providing that he is as smart as he seemed, a very well paying job regardless of his "education status" in a traditional school. Still waiting for Chris

What did Chris say on air that was impressive? I missed this call.
Was that the guy with the long story about the secret war with the aliens?

Zenof

he called in claiming to be an "armature scientist" but sounded really damn smart. Said things such as he knows that the Triangle Craft has a graviton engine and it can travel in time due to it's ability to fluctuate the gravitational waves. I definitely would be interested in talking with him and seeing if he has more food for thought

I gave it a listen. I think there was a similar idea in a Ben Bova? or Greg Bear? book. Or it could be Ringworld. Its been a long time.

Did he mean armchair scientist?  Or amateur scientist?

General, you are a smart, smart man. Surely that is what was said, and make a 100 times more sense than "armature scientist".

Now, let us delve into the reason. My vote is that Zenof has a proposition about his invention, which, if the Armature Scientist calls him and they work out an agreement, will make them both zillionaires.

I think it's more about time travel than the money.

Morgus

The caller claimed to be an amateur scientist?
Maybe that was longtime caller Bill from West Hartford, Conn who always says he is an 'amateur astronomer and atheist'

Juan

Maybe that's the way to get on the air - tell Tommy you're an amateur something or other.

Anybody have audio of the CoastGab shoutout?

I think he (Chris) is following in the same "amateur scientist" circles that include the inimitable Mike Bara and indefatigable Richard Hoaxland.

You can be charmed with Chris' brilliance by listening to the mp3 attached below.

(Chris - if you're out there, give me a shout... I think I have a very well paying job for you. Traditional education credentials not required)

ziznak

I like how technology and communications has advanced to calling a national radio show with a "are you out there, if you are..."  Wow, how pre-Sputnik.

HAL 9000

The LEAST he could've done is say, CoastGab DOT COM   :o

I've actually never seen it. I have an allergy to anything that involves Rosie O'Donnell and or Nora Ephron. How I successfully dodged seeing that film in the summer of '93 was being vermiculate and evasive (I gotta to work/I gotta go to a wake/I feel ill, I think it's catchy/My claustrophobia is acting up/My agoraphobia is acting up/Isn't this a sequel to Joe Vs The Volcano?...
