How Stupid Would You Have To Be (Asia Voight)...

Last night's guest, Asia Voight, claims to be able to converse telepathically with animals. Best of all, she can do it over the telephone! From her website:

"Because animal communication is telepathic, it is not necessary for Asia to be in the presence of your animal. Telephone consultations are as successful as in-person ones and more time efficient for both you and Asia. Asia will connect with your animal by first looking at a picture of your animal companion. She will then ask her/him if it’s okay if they talk today. Once she gets an ‘okay’, she’ll hold open a connection between herself and your animal during the entire consultation."

Here's my favorite part:

"Most of the time the animal will just lay or stand there quietly not looking like they are doing much. This is because they are paying close attention to the conversation."

BWAHAHAHAHA

Only $160 for a half-hour, though, and she's not a bad-looking chick.

MV/Liberace!

it's wonderful to see the many ways people find to escape real work for the money they receive.

At $160/half-hour, I wonder how often the animal says "no."

But sometimes, I guess, they talk back.  Verbally.

Bet your sweet ass that the fools who pay that will bitch about every penny they pay in taxes.

Most of the 'readings' on the air last night seemed to be with her communicating with the spirit of dead animals and birds.
One caller got thru and appeared to play a prank on Noory though, about a cat that was raped.
Did one of Noory's so-called 'haters' get past the screeners and managed to play a trick on him on the air? ;)

If they are dumb enough to believe that shit, they deserve to lose their money. I've known pet owners who seem to think their pet is another person. People are acting strange..

I often wonder what my cats might think about what I say to them... the alpha-male kitty seems to be the smartest and we are very close but I'm pretty damn positive all he hears is the inflection of my voice... when I yell at him for beating up his retarded daughter or for whining like a little bitch at the door I think they can understand what I'm saying by the context of the situation and my inflection but I seriously doubt they can understand many full words.

Dogs on the other hand seem to be able to understand many words regardless of inflextion.  My old dog Stinky had translated the word "go" to mean he's getting a walk.  You could be sitting with him just hanging out and say to him under your breath "you wanna go?" and he would react the same as if you made a big deal out of it and yelled "WANNA GO?"

elbee

maybe she is stupid enough for Operation Golem

She was entertaining, without a doubt.

The story where the squirrel came and got help for the owl (both of course communicated telepathically with her) was 'interesting'.

MY Mickey cat isn't telepathic. He just digs his claws into my legs when he wants his wet cat food.

$ 160 for a half hour. That's more than an escort who has a cat would charge for sex.

WTF ?

Could one of her " telepathic " cats read Snoory's mind and tell us all what in the hell is in there ?

First off you would have one traumatized cat... secondly you'd have a hell of a mess when george's pinata head busts open spraying turmeric and carnivora everywhere.

that looks very much like my Mickey cat although I wonder why the cat looks like its wearing a doily around its neck.

I've tried to telepathically send my thoughts to my cat as one guest once claimed she did. NOTHING. didn't even make the cats twitch so much as a whisker.

though my cats do seem to know when I am sick. They slept with me a lot when I had sinusitis and bronchitis really bad 5 years ago and had to have surgery for it or when I've had the flu.
