Richard C. Hoagland

Started by Richard C. Hoagland, July 20, 2008, 06:01:42 PM

I've read his rational wiki page before, but I must have missed this gem: "9/11 was not only a conspiracy, but a magic ritual, part of a secret war between the Freemasons and Knights Templar who control the US government on one hand, and the hashashim (which include Osama bin Laden as a key member) on the other."

Did this massive prick actually say that? That is the plot to the Assassin's Creed series of video games. Richard has always been belligerently ignorant, but this goes beyond his usual trash. So sick of hearing this jack ass disgrace Cronkite and Sagan. He is the type of person that needs to be drug out in front of his community by his ear and publicly spanked and shamed.

RCH would probably claim Assassin's Creed was based on secret knowledge regarding the Illuminati or some BS like that. Just like he claimed the John Carter movie was supposed to be a way to reveal to people that there was life on Mars or some BS like that.

Howard respectfully credits Hoagland on his radio spot on Dark Matter. After this show he might reconsider.

You guys know there's a band called Hoagland Conspiracy?  haha It's not actually a reference to RCH though, it seems.

I wouldn't say belligerently ignorant, to me it's closer to belligerently unscrupulous.  He knows it's all a fraud, and figures no one else is intelligent enough to realize it - if a few do who cares, all he needs is for the C2C audience to swallow it

To me, when Art or George, or anyone else has these assclown guests on once or twice to tell their story - great, if it's entertaining and a good story.  But to hear the same nonsense over and over and over and over, no thanks.  GIS, Whiny Steiber, Ed Dames, Number Ladies, Hogland, and all the rest - so many others - no thanks.  Beyond boring, beyond overexposed, having them on yet again is an insult to people's intelligence

Yeah I quit on Dames a long time ago and Hoagland after the new mars images in 1998. He realized that he was wrong and that the face was nothing so of course in Hoagland fashion it had to be a conspiracy. I like one caller who told him he can't loose if its a face Hoagland is right and if its not a face than government conspiracy. He only got worse and worse, his 9/11 conspiracy was his absolute worst. I never heard it cause I was done with him and I'm glad I didn't. He degenerated to simply babbling like an idiot about masons and numbers and how that proves a conspiracy. Enough already.

That will be around the 19.5 mark I'm guessing.

Heard Hoagland with Howard Hughes the other day.  He sounded Tired and old.  Hoggie has a lot of crackpot ideas, but he is a unique character and I will miss him when he is gone.

expat

The worst of that was his point-blank refusal to address legitimate criticisms of his "work."

ADD: I've done a narrative recap of the math error Hoagland refused to discuss.

Hoagland and Riley Martin should team-up.

Gary Posner has dug up some hilarious 1990-91 recordings of Hoagland on the radio show 'For the People.' Comedy gold as RCH rants about Carl Sagan, NASA, OMNI magazine, etc.

I always liked how deader people like Sagan and Clarke became the better friends they were with Hoaggie.

That would be Chuck Harder's radio show 'For the People.'

There's someone out there named Chuck Harder..

Would I be out of line calling this documentation a complete pile of horse shit? Or a mountain of loveliness?

NASA is running a news item about a "pyramid" discovered on dwarf planet Ceres.
They are just winding up Richard C!

Chuck Harder was the first to report seeing black helicopters.

Good luck with that.... :)

If it is addressed, it will be Noory saying "Well Richard, I see the haters are at it again."

" I know George; it's a lonely path we science advisers tread. We're lampooned and derided from all sides. The so called scientists think they're clever because they throw up spurious facts that can be proven to be correct in a way such as me can't, who wish to enlighten the gullible and ...I mean , intelligent listeners to shows such as your own."

Tonight might just be a full 4 hours of Hoagland's breathless raving, followed by UFO Phil and call it a night.

Why bother with the half-show, half-assed opened lines anymore.

Juan Cena

RCH is totally taking things out of context tonight. It's so fraking obvious the "cultural artifacts" the Russian scientist was talking about was the Moon landing footage.

Sadly, it sound like RCH is only on for two hours.

Yep, he's really given up and decided his followers will believe anything without him even trying.
