Anyone listen to the Para-X station?  Amatuerish (in good and bad ways), and not a podcast as such, but fairly interesting.

The only problem I'm having lately with my favorite, Mysterious Universe, is when they bring on that new bonehead Eliott. I don't know, keep him off the mic and in the background because his personality has completely diminished the quality of intellect that usually happens with Aaron and Ben. Otherwise I still find it a great alternative because they are quite intelligent and have a great chemistry.

Ego, is that what you mean by starting to suck? I hope so because I feel like a lone soldier in my dislike of how the show sounds and feel when his on. The most recent episode it almost felt like Ben was getting a bit annoyed with the "parachute pants" thing but I could be reading into it wrong. Regardless of them always saying they're about entertainment only they are civil, smart as hell and do good interviews.

analog kid

Thought last season of MU was sucking, but like the way this season is going. Haven't listened to a whole show with their new employee cohosting though.

* I should have said besides MV's podcast, which I really enjoy. Sadly I missed the live feed last night because I fell asleep due to having an awful cold. I will be back in the chat room next show.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will check no agenda out. Paranormal radio is awful now. It's alot of the same doom and gloom. I need more tech podcasts I think. :)

Thanks so much, I am no longer falling asleep, and Adam Curry, former VJ on MTV as a co-host, pretty cool. :) When is your new episode of trainwreck coming out? Also any other suggestions by other listeners would be welcomed. Please make my work day better :)

Good. I was worried everyone would find it to be a snoozefest... but it needed to be discussed.

Thanks for the extensive list with links, RHastings.  Could you let me know which ones focus mainly or at least primarily on the paranormal?  Thanks!

Gave a bit of a listen to the latest Noagenda podcast, and immediately they're talking politics at the top of the hour.  Politics are a non-starter for me (I have to hear too much about them in my everyday life:  I go to podcasts to escape from that stuff and to do so by immersing myself in the paranormal or at least mystical).

So, Noagenda is off my list.

So far, the best podcast I've heard is Mysterious Universe, but I haven't heard this Elliott character yet that people are complaining about.

no agenda is, for the most part, a dissection of mainstream news.  it's pretty difficult to go about that task without politics worming its way into the discussion.

Not to be a cynic (which usually means "being a cynic") but I find it hard to believe they can actually follow through with the laudable goal which their No Agenda name implies. Any idea what direction their idea of non-bias leans?

What I heard at the start of their podcast that I heard (I think it was the most recent one), they were being somewhat critical of our President.  Not obnoxiously so, but enough to give me the impression they lean to the right.  Either that, or they're Dems (or Moderates) starting to get disgruntled.

the show is critical of all powerful people, left and right.  you won't get the show or understand its approach with just one episode.

I think Adam is a looser. He has ADD and basically needs a smack in the mouth. From his Dad. In Public.
