This moron has only one line to intro for any guest on his program. He is Bobby Bittman from SCTV.

Bobby Bittman Sings!

Notice Eugene Levy sings from the Titanic? Kinda like the C2C show on its way to the bottom of the ocean. Sad but true.

Like everything else about GN ... insincere and completely artificial. George is to humanity what saccharine is to sugar

Eddie Coyle

I think he should try a "what up, nigga".

Maybe that will finally do away with him.

Yes, we need him to place hard  emphasis on the "er".

Carcinogenic and hopefully soon-to-be-removed from the market place?

It's really more of a, "How ARE ewe?"

Always followed by 'I'm really looking forward to this!'

George49

George: "What's up Niger?"

Guest: "Excuse me, Why are  you sending a Wha-What's up to that country in Africa."

You're right... Same every night. That must be his first cue card

Wild Card Guy

A friend and I have a friendly debate going in regards to Noory's intro blurb:

"From the city of angels off the Pacific Ocean. Good morning, good evening, wherever you may be, across the nation, around the world. I'm George Noory. Welcome to America's most listened-to late night talk show, Coast to Coast AM."

My pal says Georgie knows this by heart. I say he has to read it off a cue card taped to his computer screen.

Who knows?

ziznak

Even a moron like him would have that schtik memorized by now... he's been saying it almost every night for years now!  hope you didnt throw down too much cash on that bet.

Lovely Bones

A comparative analysis.

This, I believe, is Knapp's current version (he keeps re-writing, honing the wording like a poet):

Good evening everyone, you’re in the right place at the right time. This is Coast to Coast AM. Coming at you, blasting out of the Mojave Desert like a sirocco, blazing across the land, into your town, into your home, slamming into your radio like a supercharged nano particle of unobtanium.

Greetings from the boldest, bawdiest most outrageous city in the world, the planetary capital of sun, fun, sin, sex and secrets, my not so humble hometown, Las Vegas, Nevada.

My name is George Knapp, your occasional host, your designated driver of the airwaves, and moderator of tonight’s upcoming cacophony of conversation. Glad to be with you once again.

My bet:

A) Knapp has every version of his, including this one, committed to memory but

B) Noory has a post-it on his hand for his, slamming into his forehead like a supercharged particle of left-over dog turd.

Knapp has by far the most creative intro, better than Art's.  But at times I still long for those sweet words:  "from the high desert."  I knew that a lot of great radio was soon to follow.

Before 2008, the name Palin was cool.

Gassy Man

This sort of intro is much closer to George's wit, speed, poesy, and intelligence:

Criswell Predicts : Plan 9 From Outer Space Outro

It just might be a little more coherent than George is capable of.
