I've been meaning to ask - is your GravitySucks avatar a commentary on that terrible Tess Garritsen book 'Gravity' that Art gushes over?

I read that thing, the whole time thinking it must somehow get better - it didn't.

I picked the name many years ago when I was working at the Johnson Space Center. Worked most of my career as a NASA contractor.

Not sure where I found the .gif image, but it was around the time they announced the detection of gravitational waves.

Ha, a third meaning for what must be the most clever name on here!  I've always read it as both a description of that force in spacey terms and an approximation of Icarus's last words.

It is definitely a play on words. When I am SCUBA diving I remind myself it is the closest I will ever get to zero-G.

On tonight's weekly Art Bell: Somewhere in Time, it included a half hour segment of an Ed Dames predictions interview from mid 1996.
It was interesting to hear Major Dames doom and gloom predictions which he stated back then would happen in the next 4 years, which of course all never happened...

My favorite of Dames is his first appearance which he says he might only do C2c once. Then in his third or so appearance Dames stated it was his final appearance because the end was nigh.

Also I know its late but Brig

Well, let's see, he bought into the Obama hype, and then he bought into the Trump hype.  As instructed by CNN.

What else would you like to know?
What did Art have for breakfast.

Good to see that you're posting again, Value Of Pie.

Art needs to stand trail (in the BellGab court of opinion) for his crimes against radio. The 'stalker' story; Heather taking the reins, was is akin to 'The Night of the Long Knives.' Followed by Heathers Brown Shirt loyalists purging and rounding up the remaining truth tellers. Despicable! No Justice! No Peace!

Who your leader who your man
Who will help you fill your hand
Who's your friend and who's your foe
Who's your Judas you don't know
Night of the long knives
Night of the long knives
Night of the long knives
Night of the long long knife

Where's that saviour
Where's that light
When your prayin' for your life
Who's that fightin' back to back
Who's defending who's attack
Night of the long knives
Night of the long knives
Night of the long knives
Night of the long
Long knife

Stab him in the back

It's the night of the long knives
Night of the long knives
Night of the long knives
It's the night of the long long knife

It's the night of the
Night of the
Night of the long long knife
