How about putting forth your own ideas as part of a discussion? 99.8 percent of your posts used to be telling another poster you were putting them on ignore. Now it's just trying to insult people you disagree with.
You haven't been keeping up with my posts much have you? If "hippie" is an insult so be it. I happen to think that it is not, but whatever, you have already decided who and what I am right? lol

I love how some are painting RT as the boogie man. OOOhhh no, not propaganda, like every other talking head doesn't try to divide us. But somehow getting information, that is accurate by the way, somehow is beyond any of us seeing it for less than mind control. Patriotism is love of country and fellow countrymen, even if they see thing differently.

I don't know about RT but stand up applause for the rest of your statement.

not a boogie man just pointing out obvious- russia isnt paying for this out of their tax money for the good of America/Europe.

Their stance on immigration and  borders is very clear concerning how things should be done in the usa- Oddly enough the opposite is the way things are moving in Russia. why would Russia use their tax money to tell us we need to be more understanding of illegal immigrants and less strict with our borders while doing the opposite in their own nation if this was merely to'inform" us. If they actually believed what they say the first place to enact these policies would be their own nation...

That doesnt  mean there isnt good information to be found on RT. It means consider the source and realize there is an agenda at play here.

You're welcome to chime in anytime. Nobody is stopping you. I could use some help in pointing out Noory's problems, or perhaps you could help Noory in his fallacious arguments? Either way. God Bless America and free speech.

You are correct.  The sole purpose of an entity such as RT is to UNDERMINE.  I lived in Russia for several years and believe me, their country is a total disaster in every way you can think of.  If there ever is any good information on RT it was placed there to make their lies look better.

Wonderful, intelligent, beautiful, and normal human beings.  Most were very aware of the lies shoveled by the government.

I spent two weeks in Moscow in 1996, I was astounded at the poor state of the infrastructure there.  Preventative and sustaining maintenance seemed to be concepts they were unfamiliar with.  I remember catching a bus in central Moscow and being able to see the road through the rotted/rusted floor. One of my colleagues said it best, "Russia is a third world country with nuclear weapons".

Exactly.  Corruption is impossibly steep.  their GDP has been equal to Canada's GDP for years now.  Imagine Canada trying to dominate the planet.

Reminds me of a completely unrelated line by Billy Crystal as be performed in front of a Russian audience in Moscow, he said, "we were raised to think you were the enemy......., you were raised to think that we were the enemy....., we were both wrong...it's the French".   (big big laughter ensued)

Some of the best people I ever had the pleasure to work with.  I had the impression incompetence or failure to toe the line was dealt with in interesting ways

No 'supposed' adversary about it- Russia is our adversary.

Russia isnt spending all this money to "educate" the American public and increase our knowledge and understanding of the world. Its propaganda (note: propaganda does not necessarily mean 'lies') in the same vein as 'radio free europe'.

The interesting and ironic thing about RT is that they are pushing an agenda that goes against their own policy. Usually a nation with good intentions would be using media like this to bring our Countries and people closer in philosophy and doctrine but with RT they criticize the US over things that are far more severe in Russia. On one hand RT screams about identity politics, gay rights and how horrible it is in the States while Russia is clamping down on the gay agenda and indoctrination of the youth.

You cant have it both ways,

This would be similar to USA government using media and propaganda (paid for with tax  money) to tell the people of the Netherlands that their drug policy is too harsh and they need to relax drug laws while having far more extreme drug laws here in our own country. That screams of agenda and anyone who cannot see this is blind.

The World is a dangerous place, my friend. We have few real allies and many adversary's including Russia.  Russia wants whats best for Russia, as they should- And that doesnt often translate to whats best for America.

Just because bombs arent falling from the sky and everything appears relatively peaceful between our nations does not mean we arent in direct competition and thus adversaries.

You are playing right into their hand.

My brother lived in Moscow for ten years as a journalist; he was the head of a large news syndicate there. I never was able to visit him (not enough money or time) but my brother, mom, uncle and cousin, and their families once visited him. They fell in love with the Russian people. In fact, the Russians fell in love with my mom, an 80 yo woman flamboyantly dressed; they don't have many elderly people dressed like that there, do to the fact that they don't want to stand out, cops, KGB, whatever...

When we were there, the design bureau we were visiting provided us with "fixers", can't remember the Russian expression.  We were told if we had any problems at all during our stay, just to let one of these guys know.  One of our group got into a situation with a merchant at something like a flea market on old Arbat St.  I wasn't there, but I was told the fixer whispered something in the merchant's ear, the man looked terrified, and immediately the issue was resolved.  We found out later these guys were former KGB and Spetsnaz operatives who were hired by Russian corporate types to ensure the happiness and well being of their western business associates while in country.

Lovely place they've got there. Mixed in with all the "Wonderful, intelligent, beautiful, and normal human beings" mentioned above, we have the fixers and their employers. Actually, I'm sure they are all wonderful people when they are not breaking each other's legs or paying for same. You just need to get to know them.
