I read Howard Hughes talked about the deal Art offered him on his show recently? Did anyone listen to it? Aside from Dark City and TMK/Jaz's podcasts, I don't listen to much of this genre anymore.

Exactly, plus Art lost all his credibility with his hypocrisy and came off looking horrible. A lot of people with critical thinking skills left leaving only those addicted to BellGab, those who want to gain something from Art and old people who are obsessed with Art. Those fall into the pros and cons.

If anything the sychos should be thrilled the trolls were here as they were preventing critical analysis of how full of shit Art is for a few days while giving them something to project their frustrations at.

But how dumb is that to think a site meant for trolling is going to financially prop up and support an incompetent failure replacement when the whole premise of the site was to fuck with an incompetent failure replacement?

Same here, I was willing to be respectful until that. Once that happened the gloves came off even though most of the regulars were PMing back and forth the same stuff that's considered "trolling" by sychos. I think the stalker story is ridiculous but I don't care. But that combined with the sheer hypocrisy is why we're here now.

Interesting observation... Interesting that I had spent quite awhile in the "sucks" thread before Art came back on XM without even considering that aspect (I really could not bear to listen to Coast after that- even if it was for a laugh.)

I really had not considered it as everybody was pretty much in agreement- Noory sucks.  It almost does not feel like trolling unless you decide to go against the grain and defend what Coast became... But I suppose there were very strong elements n that thread (as well as the rest of the site.)

I believe my first thought upon signing up for bellgab was "what a bunch of assholes" before I proceeded to defend George in the GNS thread. I subsequently figured out that George was not a nice guy and deserved what he was getting, but the point is that it took seeing George acting slimy to turn me. The specific moment being when he interviewed Oates. There is a reason George takes the heat he does.

I haven't seen any of that with Art. All Art's done is get shot at, threatened and then made bad decisions under duress. Still, some people here have either outright trolled because they like to play in shit piles, or they have simply convinced themselves that there is more to the story without any reason to suspect so because deep down they feel like Art screwed them over somehow. Trolling from either of those points of view boil down to a simple desire to fuck with an old man in a really bad situation trying to look out for his family. I find that tasteless, at best.

While there are no angels on Bellgab, the current crop of trolls here are true fucking lowlifes. The worst kind of person this world produces. It's times like this that I hope karma exists and when they're laying in bed dying of dick cancer they wonder "if only I had been a little bit better of a human being this might not have happened".

Apologetic for what?

I apologized for some shit I said to Art (mostly in private correspondence if i remember correctly) several years ago because I said some  pretty racist shit. The thing is, I talk racist anyhow even around my friends who come from a diverse background and give it right back-  But Art isnt my friend and what I said wasnt very nice.

i dont remember exactly what I said but that was years ago. I have nothing to apologize for this time around- I dont apologize for the trolling I did (not all my posts are trolling btw and at this point the majority probably arent), for being an asshole or offending anyone except certain posters.

Noory 2.0 is an important perspective, but still different in one vital way from Noory 1.0. The current virus is summed up by the song below, IMO. And it has been battling it out with an immune system dedicated to preserving Art as the guy we all want him to be.

If there is Karma and you are really wishing someone died , painfully of "dick cancer" because they wrote words that you didnt like- You're in trouble, big trouble brother.

It's funny- when I typed that, you crossed my mind.  No, I was not thinking that you were a troll, defending Noory... Only that you are one of the few who I recall actually having done so.

Having said that, your first impression may have been correct.
