See how easy it is to get caught in a lie?

He had a couple of "shakes" left, it would seem.

Nah, Art has more heart broken haters here it seems.

<sigh> No-one hates him; plenty pity him, many others are pissed with him, and some simply disappointed...but hate? Can anyone muster that amount of emotional negative energy? All consuming? If they can, they need to be in the same waiting room with AB.

Maybe not most--but a few that feel like attacking constantly...that feels like hate.  Frankly anyone upset AT ALL hasn't been paying attention.  With Dark Matter and Midtd--I expected Art to probably quit soon...and that any shows at all were pure bonus and a positive.  So I was fine.

The whole saga is just sad. No hate here, not even for the trolls. More like disgust.

We had some good laughs. Not much is funny right now.

I would still like to see Heather be successful. Kinda of a Cinderella story. But I am a lifelong Cubs fan. I am used to disappointment.

I think many just find his attitude irritating and self serving. Narcissism? He's a story teller, and knows that some hang onto his every word and treat as being gospel. That is in my view cruel and exploitative.

+1
I agree with all you say AND  since my hometown = Detroit Lions ... I am also used to disappointment

I don't even see why there should be pity for Art--he's fine, better off than anyone else around these parts--money, family, cultural achievements.

And again we got more shows--bonus shows--over the last couple years that we thought we'd never get.

The quitting should have been expected--and yes was handled badly as usual.  But the rest was pure bonus.  Plus I do think he may return...just don't assume it will be forever!

I used to look forward to Art's take on things, and maybe listen to the rest of the show once in awhile if he had an interesting guest.  Now that I see who he really is, I'm not interested in his take on anything.

I dunno, all his drama and elaborate stories are just so absurd and unnecessary, .

I never saw Art as a truth teller but a story teller, so I'm not disappointed.  He's just good at what he does, so if he does more, I'd listen and enjoy.

Don't see him as a bad guy--just imperfect...like the rest of us.

And we agree, that it was a damn good one.  Perhaps you will agree with me on this, at times, beyond compare.  Other times, meh, not so much.  It was a damn good radio show.

On that I most certainly agree.

This poem is about noory's toupee
Which sits kind of sideways and droopay.
When dining, the weave
Got caught on his sleeve,
Flew off, and now floats in the soup.  Eh?
nicely done! love a good limerick!  cheers!
