The key word Art used is incident. So we can all calm down. It's not a tragedy or travesty. "Incident" has a sense of peacefulness to it. It happened whatever it is. It's over whatever it was. He will tell us what it was, so that's good. He is not retiring because of this.

I hope all is well and it is some power-related incident or something, not illness or criminal issue. I know wind storms etc can do damage (many in E.Wash areas still without power for a week due to that wind storm and now snow and cold. Lucky I'm not there, only dealt with floods.) I turned on the police scanner website in his area and it sounds like there are high winds and a storm coming through the town.  Let's hope it's a weather related issue.  If you search for pahrump on Facebook people are posting some cool photos of a ufo shaped cloud formation over the mountains there.
