It's almost ridiculously easy to blame a man for being a pedophile, with little to usually no proof, if you wish to bring them down.

If you want to share your sympathy for the poor, misunderstood, child-touchers, I doubt you are in the right place.

This was Aquino's response:

He should come join us in the stormfront/jewdick thread over in politics.  It's getting pretty lively there.

Faustina

Too many idiots out there won't do the research and assume where there's smoke, there's fire.  It's probably the easiest accusation to throw at a male public figure if you wish to sully their reputation.  Very hard to prove unless you have a victim come forward.  And you then just have the accused's insistence that they did not and would never.

The presence of HIV in one of the kids and other STDs in some others and then Gary Hambright dying of AIDS later raises more than "smoke," especially when the facility had a fire that destroyed some of it and some documents.

But I agree, that the Satanic Ritual Abuse and "remembered memories" was often a farce and horrible. Though I suspect some stuff did happen and was true. There are some sick people out there. But, yes, sexual child abuse is the ideal charge to ruin someone. Especially with technology these days and especially with illegal porn. I imagine it would be pretty easy for a person/agency to plant images in someone's computer or phone or simply send some through their WiFi and that will be enough to ruin their life, have them imprisoned, or at least discredited.

Shield your eyes!  Unfortunately it is true!  Church appeared on the Cops Vs. Aliens episode of Hangar 1 on History Channel.

TOO MUCH LIGHT!!!! ...& "UFO Radio Host"?

I didn't believe a word of it then, and I still don't believe it. Pazder and his witch hunters were totally discredited long ago. That was one hell of a book tour, though.

I thought the title would be "aaaaaawwwwwlriiiiiiiight."

Love how he's interviewed next to some 8000000-channel analog mixer and what looks like a wired SM58.

That's a bit highbrow for his show.

Certainly, we can solve this problem.  The question is - how much and how soon?

India's initial program, under Indira Ghandi, was giving rural men radios for being sterilized.  They started seeing real economic growth in that time, but Christians put pressure on agencies to stop the program.  By 2030 India's population will overtake that of China.

Population experts say that 80 percent of the world's strife is driven by the explosion of youth - young men not finding work, having no dowry, not being able to marry.

The problem is that the choice we have is either to continue our present rate of growth while each of us live a lifestyle close to subsistance OR live the lifestyle we now enjoy and curb population growth.  Population alone is not the problem, but what we do in our lives is.  The very efficient means of production that saved humanity back then is what is going to kill us in the future.

Our population, at its current growth, could reach an unsustainable 27 BILLION by 2100.  Ninety-Nine point nine percent of al the species on the planet have gone extinct.  We are not exempt.  Sure, there are things we could do, but are we doing those things?

We don't need to do anything. As I said, so long as affluence continues to rise in India and China they will stop having children on their own. Just look at Japan, they went through similar circumstances as China and India, and now face an eventual population shortage. More, we don't really have a good idea on what will be sustainable by 2100 because we have no idea what means of production will be used for food. 27 billion could be entirely sustainable if you're running your society on GMO strains that yield six times what normal plants do. In such a case the carrying capacity of the Earth dramatically rises. It's the same problem that caused Malthus to be wrong, if you can't predict what effect future emergent technologies are going to have on a situation, then you can't know what the situation will actually be.

Besides, I'm not sure the word "sustainable" will have any meaning in 2100. We'll probably be well into the nanotechnological revolution by that point and that completely changes the game.

Maybe because that is because there is an overwhealming shitload of pedophiles in this world that need to have a little jungle justice done.....

I'm kind of glad Dolan will be on instead of Aquino.  Much rather talk UFO's than go down Aquino's dark road.  It would be so weird to hear Asia's adorable liner, and then come back to that discussion.

an astute observation

Liberals need a reason to control contraception.  "overpopulation" is the bogeyman.

I, for one, can totally listen for the hair.  I consider it a form of training.

Not sure of what to make of the guest. A lot of accusations coming from many different sources are tough to discredit. However, you'd have to wonder:

A) Why wasn't he even charged?
B) I doubt Art would have him on if he believed any of the accusations to be true.

Should be an interesting show tonight.

Hush yourself. People who go around saying "Hush" need their intellectual superiority knocked down a few notches. And are just annoying cunts in general.

Church has made it onto TV?  :o
Yep on the History Channel.
"Ancient Aliens" got Noory as one of the talking heads, and their newer show "Hanger One" a UFO reports show got Jimmy Church (as their token talk show host?) for one of their talking heads.
Both of them are useless on those shows since they just make short comments that came from what they heard from other guests, so its 3rd hand from them...

I'm very disappointed to hear this. What a good show this would have been.
What the hell happened?

Agreed.  Most of the satanic ritual abuse panic emerged from the evangelical Christian right which was just coming into power in the late 80's; the panic then took hold in wider society.  It was a pretty scary time for anyone who had any kind of interest in the paranormal, occult, esoteric or wasn't JC.  For those that weren't around or don't remember, there are quite a few good books on the topic - Debbie Nathan, Sherrill Mulhern, Lawrence Wright.  I always assumed Aquino was targeted because of his status as a public Satanist.

Oh my....just read the Richard Hoagland: The Other Side of Midnight thread, and wow....the show can't be that bad, can it? I haven't listened yet...but really folks, I'm sure he has lots of interesting subjects and guests.

And the hair? Can't you just listen for the hair???

Well, have you listened to Hoagie's appearances with Art or George?

What the listeners to his show have reported is exactly what was predictable and predicted

I feel like a "deathbed" confession implies imminent death. If he's not dead I've been severely cheated.

Also I love the term ex-CIA official. For all of you Bellgabbers out there let me clue you in on something, if someone calls themselves an ex-CIA official, or former CIA spy, or operative, just know they are either totally full of crap or are far exaggerating their former relationship with the Company. I attend university with several former and current spooks and I'm well aware with what they can and will say.

I'd prefer open lines to Dolan. He is such a fraud.

art will make it a good show. He always does. I hope he goes after Dolan for the obvious fake pictures.
