Yes, as in the plan of that idiot governor of Kansas to build a pipeline across Missouri and steal water to keep the Kansas corporate wheat farmers in business as they have just about sucked their aquifer dry.  What a dumbshit.

They're welcome to the water. I'm in eastern Missouri and the Mississippi needs some serious draining. All it does anymore is flood its ass off because the levy system is blocking the flood plains up north. We have the opposite problem of the west, we have too much water.

I wish I had originated this saying...

If Jesus died for my sins, he way overreacted.

I love this quote.  I'm going to steal it too.

Dammit!  What have I told you about cool reasoning?  This culture wants to run around wild eyed and pretending that their hair is on fire.

I know, I know. I'm harshing the freak out buzz.

All we need to do is to find an asteroid with a brain and lots of water and then convince it to land softly on Earth.  (based on sage commentary from GN)

Could the water be disappearing into a portal?

His portrayal of mainstream news readers and their gullible public is incredibly accurate, and as sad as it is funny.

I love his attention to detail; the little bandages on Trump's head where the implants were removed, haha!!

Yes!  I love This Modern World...

Hey guys. Anyone know the name of the woman who sailed solo from Mexico to Hawaii at the age of 72? She's a ham and art had some contact with her while she was on her journey. Anyone recall her name??

Rick500

Google tells me it may be Jeanne Socrates. I don't remember if that's the person in question, but I remember the story.

[Edit: Nope, I don't think that's her. But she did something remarkably similar.]

Noory has Grant Goodeve on to reminisce about Dick Van Patten.

Oh goody!  After they talk about Dick, they can talk about the careers that they both had.  And how all they have now is....dick.

Sci, how is that gonna suck balls any worse than coming out of the nice, relaxing nothingness into this world? lol

I'm mostly Taoist, so I'm also here to enjoy myself till I go back into the nice oblivion. And I spend a certain amount of time meditating and practicing Chi Gong to try to replicate the relaxing nothingness. I'm pretty sure tho that the ghost thing, if it exists, is just a transition between the nothingness and the non-nothingness (yin and yang) for those who need it.
You sure do talk purdy. :D
Similar for me.  I'm of the "You Create Your Own Reality" school of thought.  Form follows thought, yada yada yada.  ;)

I want to say, Margaret, but I may be wrong.  I remember that show.  She had called at night and, I believe, she said she was about a day out of Hawaii.

No, you don't understand. It is like the global warming, climate change, climate disruption, taxation, public schools, immigration/integration, guns, or whatever issue. THEY have can a large carbon footprint, have armed security, send their children to elite, private schools, only marry and associate within their race/class/countryclub-set/religion, have tax-free Foundations and loopholes, have as many children as they wish, own large swathes of land, and whatever else. The "little people" are the ones who need to stop having children, obey laws, limit their "carbon footprint", pay taxes, live on smaller properties, urbanize, etc. Do as I say, not as I do is their mantra.

How many others on here have a subscription to MITD,C2C and C2M…..?????

Fearlessjay

I have Hoagy, Midnight in the Desert and Caravan to Midnight, also Rense for old times sake. Gave up totally on C2C when Noorie hounded Steven Hawkins  co writer to get him on the show instead of using one the great minds for an amazing interview.

flimflam384

I only subscribed to MITD.  I haven't followed C2C with any frequency in years, and RCH's show would have to *grab* me the way Art does to get my 5 bucks.  Instead, I sleep.  I'll probably tune into Bella-Haven tonight, instead.

Hoagie's far more interesting as an interviewee than as a host.

I assume you mean the "liberal elite" who agree with 99 percent of the world's climatologists who have evidence backed data concerning climate change. I have a lot less problem with them than our 1 percenters like Koch brothers, Monsanto, and the oil companies who have spent millions to lull the "little people" into denying climate change while they continue to line their pockets at the expense of our and our children's future. I agree with sci fi that much can be done but not with the fat cats using their money and influence to constantly derail intelligent discourse on the subject

C2M is by far the most insane podcast I have ever listened too. Never know if you are going to listen to it and decide to never ever listen to this rubbish ever again, then next night ends up been a guest that brings out the best in Wells. It has some of the best and worst podcasts I have ever heard. Worth the fiver a month though.

Edited to add the 2nd most insane, I listen to the Roddy Piper podcast too. That is genuinely nuts.

You're a very angry person. There's no question about that. The only question is, why?  Why do you attack  so aggressively when there was not a scintilla of hostility directed at you?

I was engaged in a brief, light-hearted exchange with another poster. What compelled you to insert yourself so rudely and aggressively into that conversation? You instantly made it personal by mentioning  things from my past that I have never discussed with you, in a childish attempt to embarrass me ( not possible, btw). Apparently, you took note of a previous discussion I had with yet another member. Seems to be habit of yours. It's a little creepy, I have to tell you.

I don't have a thing in the world against you. Your  beliefs are your own, but I have a good deal of experience in dealing with folks who regularly project the kind of hostility you direct at me. And, it has  been my experience that those kind of people harbor some pretty serious anger issues.

But, to iterate, there is hope. Sure saved MY life.

The Anger and aggression exist only in your mind, simply because you don't like or agree with what is written.

I wasn't aware that only certain people were allowed to read or address your post in an open forum. You pulled out the science vs. shroud bait, again. Then flippantly stated, I was wrong as usual. Without supporting your statement. My reply wasn't made to embarrass. Supporting my position of your specious reasoning was the intent. Notes weren't necessary, just an unadulterated memory. How "personal" can information be, when you deem it fit for public consumption? Recalling and using what I read is a habit? Can Jesus and a 12 step program cure me!? I have to tell you. You're starting to share and sound like Falkie. It's a little creepy.

I have nothing against you. Holding a mirror up to you, and conveying ideas you don't believe; is projecting hostility. Really? Animals who are exposed to mirrors perceive their reflection as a hostel aggressor. You have a good deal of experience with hostile people, as does Falkie. Maybe you and he can compare notes and see why you're a pair of "hostile people" magnets. My experience has been people who abuse their temple harbor some serious issues. And use projection, deflection, denial, and victim-hood, to avoid addressing serious issues.

I think it was Susan something. And when I do a general Google search it brings up a woman that is not her. I wanted to do a "where are they now" check on her.
