In Art's own words..."...this is a topper." Awesome Jaz!!!

Holy Ghost to Ghost Jazz. This one was amazing. You really captures the spirit, pardon the bad pun, of Ghost to Ghost. Well done.

Beautiful work.  Ever thought of making Midnight In The Desert wallpaper?   ???   This one would make for a very cool desktop wallpaper.

Great idea! If I know how to make wallpaper...well I would. A bit techno-challenged in that department.

No worries, I had to ask because your badges are so cool.

By the way...do we have to actually send them to Keith or does he just download them from here?

bellgab.onion lol.

Debian here. I'm thinking of switching to Ubuntu. Tried to run it along side W8, but couldn't get it installed. Seems my early version of W8 won't allow it. I might try some other distros also.

Hey brig, why did you switch to Deepin? Should I check that out?

I switched from Debian to Deepin because Chrome is the default browser on Deepin, and so you don't have to worry about checking for Chrome updates, its done automatically whey you get updates.  The thing with Deepin is that you must download it from a mirror close to you, not the *home* one in china, or it will take forever.  Also, once you install it, go to preferences and click to check for most local mirror, and change it to that.  Sometimes it will default on install, to the Chinese mirror, which is extremely slow.  Also, Deepin just works, and is really beautiful IMO.

This is only a guess, but it would seem he visits periodically, grabs them, and posts them to the Badge section at darkmatternetwork.com, though it couldn't hurt to email it to him.  He might dig that.  Probably best to ask him directly.

If BellGabbers get through to Art on open lines should they say, "Mega Pizza Rolls"?

I know this was said in jest, Chef, but it reminded me of how slightly irritating it became to hear the callers to Dark Matter saying, "Roswells," then  "Many Roswells, and of course "Mega Roswells."  Hope we don't have to hear a variation of all that again.  OK.  Now I am prepared for the ensuing stoning and recommended banning.  Chunk away!

I wasn't happy with the first one. I think this one reads better. Can't wait to see the Blitz!

Isn't "Take back the night" that anti rape campaign? I think it is.

I downloaded this and then set it as my wallpaper (Windows Desktop) -- I could play with the resolution a bit on the picture ... but just wanted to test and see if it worked.

Zenman

Brig, thanks for the tips. I may try it one of these weekends. Good to not download anything from China anyway. You could end up with all the sites you visit being in Mandarin.

I also want to try some of the newer Lite versions and see if they do everything I need them to do. Since I'm not a gamer, I understand that I can probably do fine with one of those.

RoseGirl, best to use HD images for wallpaper, otherwise they often look a little grainy. You can see how it looks as wallpaper on your own computer thusly:

Rightclick on image>Set As Desktop Background>Fill Screen>Set Background

Ms. C, you do know that the Chinese can now download all your files by clicking on your desktop icons, right?

Bellgabbers had their own unique codeword greeting for Art, "Area51s" since Art lives near Area51, not Roswell...
Many bellgab callers to Art on the Dark Matter show would start off with "Area51s from bellgab, Art" :D

Thank you, PathoJen- I'm not up on the latest PC or activist slogans- not criticizing them- just don't want to appropriate anything. I meant Art taking back night radio from Dave...I'll have to rethink this one.

Just joking, Ms. C. Sorry, didn't mean to panic you. I don't think the Chinese can actually hack you from a screenshot of your desktop. At least, I hope not.

They do know some of the programs you're using now tho, but I don't think that will help them much.
