Plant more trees!

Yup...the Permean Extinction Event...CO2 plumes from Siberia heated the planet enough to release frozen methane from the oceans...90% of all life died...200 million years ago...nope, no humans or even reptiles...just salamander type critters...

I used to patrol the very Northern edge of the city.  Oh.  Look, a picture of Calvin Broadus.  Heheh
I'm just playing roller derby when I'm there. Mostly 4th Street, "Retro row". Good times. :)

I've been busy and haven't had a chance to read much of the forum.... Holy crap what has happened?

The Last Time CO2 Was This High, Humans Didn’t Exist

Are you suggesting that high levels of CO2 can be obtained without our help???  Well, so much for humans running the show I guess. ;)

Wow, so well said, i will take this advice.
I can only read the words and not into them.  I know, 'just words', but I hope they help.  You gotta be tougher than 'they' or you are forever 'their' bitch.

You're wasting company time. Get back to work.  :P

Yikes caught me red handed. Please don't report me.

So I'm starting to understand, that there are new special banned words that we should no longer use.

George Carlin's list of words that would get a person arrested in the 1970s if used in public, are acceptable today.  And now there is a new list of unacceptable words that shouldn't be use in public.

Somebody please update the new banned words list. TIA

Jazzmunda, this is awesome!  Great job!

Thanks.  That is so cool.

I recall Art talking about seeing the UFO... perfect clip.  Are any of the clips used from the land down under?

Thank you to all for your kind words about the trailer.

I'm very proud of it because it is my first real attempt at using iMovie and it was all self taught and it only took me 4 hours to put this together. I'm lucky that my work has access to stock footage that I used as source material for the video. The true inspiration was the words coming from Art himself. Without them it is just a bunch of video of landscapes and starscapes set to some new agey music. Art's voice and his words make that trailer.

I was going through the stock footage that I have and have an idea for the next one.

Stay tuned ....

I am willing to rest my case with this:

I agree that as a nation we have to toughen up some.  I agree that words are just words.  But I also know that bullying is causing kids to die unnecessarily, and it's more than mere words, this is not a simple issue that can be discussed as black or white, it's full of gray, it's very complicated.  I'm just asking for folks to have enough class to not denigrate, intentionally or otherwise.

I had a steady girlfriend who was black and walking into her neighborhood years ago I got assaulted by a gang of about 12 or 14 young adults who knew here, just because they didn't like a cracker dating "their girl".  For one thing, she's NOT their girl, and for another, even if I have ancestors that were crackers, I'm not one, I'd have helped fight slavery.

Seems a lot of misunderstandings come from people making polarization where it actually doesn't exist.  We're all brothters and sisters, and we gotta live the love.

I just stand up for those that cannot stand up for themselves.  Fault me for that if you like.  The fact that I've got so many LGBT pals speaks to my trying to do right by people.  I don't care about being the most hip or most popular, and if it means getting knocked around, so be it, I gotta listen to my heart.  I still think all of you are vaugely lovable anyways.
If you want to rest your case, I will not rebut, I will not answer, I will not challenge, it will, as you state, rest.

I would like to say this to you, in the future, I will not have you censored, I will not have you unanswered, for it that were so, then we could have no discourse, civil or otherwise.  If you are willing to accept those words, unrelated to your case, I'd buy you a beer.

This is important, you can't be a media starlet without fan pictures.

Ah yes, back in the days of callers taking water bong hits on air. I loved that, it was ground breaking radio back in the day.

Co2 rises are certainly a concern, you can only pump so much of an insulating gas into the atmosphere before something bad happens. However, I think Lockheed Martin just saved humanity's collective ass and we have a real chance of becoming a zero emission society within 30 years.

http://www.physics-astronomy.com/2015/02/lockheed-martins-new-compact-fusion.html#.VXdAiGBFBjE

Won't find stuff like that reported in the mainstream media.
Do you think it was reverse engineered alien tech?  Teslian tech?  Or just pure human pull this out of our ass, lube it up with some brain sweat tech?

This could be a worthy nugget to chew on if ART is doing a show on Co2 emissions

   That's going on my gravestone.

If my family ever gets around to buying one.

Then they will have something to take those drunken urinations upon.  Kinda like those bulls eyes at trucker rest stops.

Nice first one... But for 2nd video may first want to watch all of Falkie's 600 videos to get some tips from a real pro.

I don't know about anybody else here, but I can use more Betty Page......

My company has a subscription to a service where people upload their "professional" videos, images, music etc for sale. I have no idea where the actual locations of some of those places are. I would assume that they are somewhere in the US but it could be anywhere.

Some certainly are from the American Southwest.  Having lived most of my life there, I recognize some of the terrain.
