Many of you who have listened to me for Decades know that I have always felt that if two people of the same Sex want to be together or get Married, it is no problem for me in any way.

You may also remember I said Marijuana should be legal. It's funny to live long enough to see things that I thought should be legal and I got in such trouble for saying now coming true. I am no Prophet but just lucky or unlucky enough to live long enough to see it start to come true.

BTW, Global CO2 rise is also real and will continue to manifest in very unpleasant ways, now over 400PPM

Art, you may not be a prophet, but some of your ideas have been dead on.  The global super storm certainly springs to mind.  I also remember you once pitched a movie idea on air where there is a future world where the Uni-bomber is perceived as a hero because of his attacks on technology and everyone is a Techno hating Luddite living in a shanty world.  The crazier technology becomes and the more reliant we are on technology, the more likely I see this sort of thing happening...not in our lifetime, but way down the line.  Who knows?  I just picture a guy like Charlton Heston in Beneath the Planet of the Apes finally getting pissed off and sick of the world and detonating a bomb...but instead of a nuke, we'll get a techno eradicating EMP.

The LM one is based on heat rather than direct conversion, however it may be possible to modify their reactor to do it. That would be particularly appealing for space related uses where you could eliminate the need for radioactive RTG's in larger space probes without having to carry water or a turbine for power generation.

No, not near but something we must invest and work towards while we still have fossil fuels...

Instead of being thought of as some dirty evil, fossil fuels should be regarded as the most precious resource. It's our chance to get to the next step which realistically at this point is probably fusion. In the mean time we have this giant fusion generator in the sky as Elon Musk put it, which we can harvest right now to cut out the unnecessary wasting of our fossil fuel reserves.

I was listening to a podcast that had a lot of callers and it occurred to me that the host of this particular podcast isn't even half as well known as Art.  Obviously, the word about the new show has already spread tremendously.  Graham Hancock was tweeting today about the new Art Bell show.  I don't think Art will be lacking callers at all.  I'm looking forward to summer nights listening to Art while looking at the stars.
