what you said here is sort of my point.  apple products aren't inherently more secure than anything else out there, and all of this good will they get for being so is undeserved.  they're subject to the same vulnerabilites as any other platform.

Yeah, but it isn't happening. I agree is it a numbers thing. But it isn't happening. And to some extent, because everyone and their brother is buying droids... the market to hack is following those choices.

I like my iphone because it does what I need it to without the constant rebooting, battery loss, plus the ease of use. That being said, I am not all that happy about the work around to get music files from other sources to play... but 1.29 vs .99 isn't something I worry about.

I have only met one person that had a virus pretty much ruin his day. But it is what I read, and hear. It doesn't really matter that much to me. I don't hate droids. I do hate the "Iphone pussy" mentality. I used Droids for more than 3 years. I had little problem with them, until I started to have very significant demands of texting, calling, while using three different databases. All of which caused my droids to crash. My Iphones handle that demand without a problem.

It isn't Iphones fault that people camp out to buy their product. You would cream your jeans if what you were selling had that demand. Jealous much? What others do is completely out of my control. My Iphone works well under every situation I need it to preform under. I can't say that about the droids I used.

I bought a surface pro 2 and use it like four times a month on average. I have Amazon fire hd that was gifted to me and I like that for watching Amazon prime but that's about it.

And to its credit, the surface pro 2 is really powerful but it's also 2 lbs and the iPad mini 2 I use daily is 10.2 ounces.

But they are dramatically different devices that serve way different purposes so the 2lbs makes sense it just doesn't make for a great tablet experience.
