Will there be a way to contribute more than a subscription fee?
Yep.  There's a button at the top of this page.

Ask John about his appearance in an episode of the 60's Batman TV series.

No way!?!? Who/what did he play, and in what episode?

I would have sold my young soul to be one of Julie Newmar's henchmen   ;D

Gimme BellGab. Where you can place small objects like pebbles and crayons up your nose & keep them there!
It's the only way my brain can be stimulated while listening to weekday Coast anymore.

You know it's too bad the FCC won't let us have a ham radio link to the show. Now that would be way cool. Hey wait maybe using one of the more obscure digital modes like feldhell or throb?
Naw, iI havn't had enough coffee yet, just musing ......

Psk31 might work, don't need much of a signal to demodulate well. There are cell phone apps that will do it with just the phone mic

Yeah that would do it. I wonder if I can set up an Echolink  node on our repeater...............

Q: I plan on modifying my old rotary-dial phone into a mono speaker/mic combo.  I would like to send secret messages to your listeners with the rotary-pulse dial while I am on air.  Do you recommend a 1/4" or 1/8" TRS plug for this project?

A. I would suggest the connection be according to your computer I/O. 1/8" is not TRS, usually 1/4" is TRS, but it really doesn't matter as to the connection, but the data stream you send should be encrypted with SSL, so it doesn't identify you. As long as we can't hear it on the audio feed, you should be able to send data on the sub-audible channel just fine.

so good to see you here, Keith! I've been listening to the Dark Matter Digital Network since the beginning- both because Art would return there and because you have found new and interesting talent. Well done and thank you!

Listening to an old Art show where he interviewed Kent Walker author of Son of a Grifter. Just amazing stuff. I need to buy the book now.

Hehehe...I thought Arnold "would be back."  8)

Riley says no. "I will have you in front of a Grand Jury" And that from a fairly liberal Commissioner.
Imagine what they would do with this dolt we have now.

There WILL be a MP3 downloadable version of new and old shows minus the music for members only.
However we will be depending on you Pirates to Kill your own.
Art

Thanks for the clarification Art! This is terrific news! I'm glad the listeners (members with a sub) will be able to download & collect some or all of the new shows as they choose. It's important to be able to enjoy the mp3  version of the show, when ever and where ever we wish, regardless of wifi or internet connections. I like the ability to copy shows to a mp3 player to be able to listen in the car.

I understand your concern with piracy, it's impossible to stamp it out completely,  but I think you are addressing it the right way by being upfront and honest with this community about the risk you are taking. I want the show to have a long and prosperous run!  The best way to ensure this is by paying for a monthly subscription, heck maybe even 2 or 3!. $5 bucks a month is an abundantly fair asking price!

Hahaha! nice one Keith!

Another very important  FAQ for Art and Keith: ;)
Can I listen to the new show on  any of my existing kitchen appliances? or will  I need to buy a new internet ready model ?
Which appliance would you recommend I listen to Art with:
1) a toaster (Black & Decker 2 slot with begal option) or
2) A microwave oven (Panasonic 1200w with temperature probe, pre programed cooking button and turbo defroster)??

If I upgrade my toaster to the Black & Decker 4 slot, can I "fast blast" aka Worm-Hole Art by setting the browning control knob to 11?

All I want to know is which channel will I need to tune my baby monitor tip in order to get the clearest reception? Will I have more success if I line 3 of these babies up, pardon the pun, all on channel 6?

Whatever you do, DO NOT, attach a ten foot wire to your baby monitor antennae.
