Yeah, the 1st amendment and all. 'I gots my rights!'  Ppl seem to not realize that their rights have a natural limitation.  They end right where they run up against yours.

And this 'public' forum, owned an operated by one MV, which he allows us to join and participate in, is MV's property.  So while it is kind of the Wild West around here, it is still MV's living room.  I am pretty sure he hasn't asked for dues or rent or some sort of tribute for us to be here.

In fact, our participation is entirely voluntary.  So if Mr. Hanky wants to stamp his wittle feet and rage, he can.  Put him on ignore. I don't ignore anyone, myself.  But MV, it's his house, he will put the smack down as needed.

I haven't hijacked anything. I gave my opinion and most of you attacked my opinion. I responded like a man. I didn't run and hide. Agree or disagree with me, I made salient points about Bell and his guest selection. If that's hijacking, go to Saudi Arabia where they are experts.

I asked you for specific examples about Graham Hancock and all you managed to do was to continue your diffuse rant. What specifics you offered about other topics were just plain wrong. So, yes, you have hijacked many electrons to do you nefarious bidding. Not only that, but you have managed to time travel into July, while the rest of us are in May.

If you read any of my previous comments, I said I will give Bell's new show a listen. But I'm doubtful he will veer away from the same fraud guests he's had on in the last 25 years. I await for his new show, but is sounds like the same bullshit.

There is little more to being labeled a fraud than simply falling on the other side of a political battle. "Discounting contrary evidence" is no more objective than simply saying "you didn't take account of this stuff that I like! boo on you!" Academia is no more than cultural politics, and fields like archaeology, astronomy, physics, and the rest are no more than academic fields. Simply define your method with respect to some desired value outcomes, and if you can convince others that this method has a legitimate claim on objectivity (hell, you might even be dumb enough to believe it yourself!), then you have already determined the outcomes that will be accepted within that culture.

Shows like Art's allow us to see culture from another perspective--one that is often at odds with the prevailing narrative. Such "frauds" open up a liminal space that is necessary for any interesting advancement in any field whatsoever. Nobody who toed the line ever said anything interesting or innovative, and they never challenged us to see things in ways we hadn't already imagined.

We don't need any more of the "pseudo-scientists" that Art Bell has provided over the last 25 years. They offer promise but never deliver. Jesus H., I've heard 2000+ Art Bell shows with his "experts" telling him what will happen, but it's all bullshit because it NEVER happened.

A long sentence is not a run-on sentence. My sentences were grammatically correct, even though I wasn't particularly concerned about grammatical correctness.
